Walt thinks the East is better.
Miami is playing their regulars tonight. The Pistons started: Dre, Moose, Smith, Singler, Bynum Miami up 36-31 halfway through the 2nd quarter. Bynum has 11 points. Bosh with 13.
Jennings out with wisdom tooth problem. Billups is not playing - did not catch why. Singler has done some scoring - a three, a three point play, another bucket. Singler just missed a 3 though. No iron. Bosh is on fire. Foul on Singler. RIght now, KCP is the point. Monroe and Drummond out there with CV I guess as the small forward.
Bosh drives and hits, misses the free throw. Josh Smith in. Offensive foul on Singler. 4th personal. 4:30 to play in half. Battier triples. 45-37 Miami. Bynum back in. Smith fouled after pass into him. 1-2. James to Battier, to Allen, to Wade for a layin. Timeout. Miami up 47-38.
Datomi still out. Stuckey slammed his hand in a car door to bust it. Ouch. Smith throws the ball out of bounds when double teamed. Jonas jammed after turnover by Miami when driving inside. Jones to Wade, hits. To Monroe,he drives on Battier. Foul on Battier. 1-2. Bosh misses. They bound, fouled. Bosh makes 2-2. Bynum up the middle. To Monroe. Misses. Bynum gets it to Andre who misses dunk. They miss. Bynum is fouled. Hits the deck. 13 to's for Pistons so far vs. 5 for Miami.
Jones has been knocking down triples on us. Bynum 1-2. 12 for him so far. Bosh dunks. Monroe misses. Andre fouls James. 3 personals on him now. James makes 2-2. Bynum fastbreak layup. TO. Andre misses, tap in by Andre. It counts. Half ends. 55-46 Miami.
I have merged the news and articles thread as it seems to become redundant.
Didn't you create both of those threads?
Yeah, I thought it over and decided to have it altogether. Because I can.
Pistons' Rodney Stuckey to miss several weeks - FanSided - Sports News, Entertainment, Lifestyle & Technology - 240+ Sites
Look on the bright side, it should create more minutes for rookie KCP to show what he can do!
I've yet to read the words Stuckey fractures thumb and not laugh. How can you slam you thumb in a car door? Did he do it on purpose because Cheeks wouldn't let him come off the bench? It would have to be his head or leg to be funnier.
Surprised it wasn't a full body injury from slamming into the side of his car...
The rule of thumb on this type of break is Stuckey will probably miss 6 weeks.
He was reading that he was doing so well.... he was afraid he would get the starting job and fall flat on his face, so he took things into his own hands.... or thumb.... I hope we have a solid 4 man rotation of guards solidly set by the time he's ready to come back and Joe finally sends him packing for that bag of popcorn he'll need to eat.
Siva checks in. Bynum and Drummond sit. CV in to. 19-19
Pope is in. We started Bynum, Singler, Smith, Monroe, Drummond. We steal and get an easy 2. Blatche misses. They get rebound, Smith foul. They make 0-2. Pope gets bound. Siva brings it up, to basket, Blatche blocks him. They travel.TO
Drummond has made 3-3 at line so far. Front line is CV, at small forward I guess, Smith, Monroe. Backcourt is Siva and Pope. Smith misses. Foul on Pope. JJ in for Smith. 2-2. 21-21. Pope misses 3. Offensive foul on Blatche. Pope OB. Blatche and Pope arguing, both got t's. Blatche and Anderson got techs for Brooklyn. Apparently, Blatche got mad at Pope for being physical. Pretty much unheard of, a big getting mad about a guard playing tough on him. They miss. JJ is fouled, makes 2-2. 24-21 us. Kirilenko brings it up, is trapped, foul on JJ. They make 1-2. Monroe blocks it out of bounds after they get bound. Taylor to Anderson, against Pope, they miss, but Evans gets the bound and puts it back in. 24-24.
