May turn out to be a blessing in disguise, I am looking forward to seeing Silva on the floor as a backup PG!

I was just quoting the previous post in hopes of creating one of those zany forum nicknames.

Looking for G-Blaha to bust out a "high-ho Siva" after he nails a "high glasser" or a "dotted-line gun".

Is this a result of his fight with The Game over the DJ booth this summer?

Silva Lining. Kind of a catchy nick.

    Just call him Silver.

Silver Siva, as in silver lining.

Hey, I agree. Lets drop it. I have a perfect right to have my opinion, and you are perfectly within your rights to be wrong.

But really, I will say this yet one more time, the "whole team" includes the point guard. I don't understand why you want to separate out the point guard from the rest of the team, but I guess I really don't need to understand.

Is it BS that I have an opinion, or just BS that I have an opinion about Bynum that is negative? If you want my opinion, read what I write. If not, don't read it. But I will neither change my opinion, nor quit stating my opinion, about Bynum, unless Bynum changes it for me by playing winning basketball.

PS, he can hustle all he wants. But I imagine there are about a billion guys who would hustle like crazy to be on an NBA team. I like hustle. Really do. But you got to have talent to play in the NBA, and generally have to lucky enough that you were born with the right size to thrive in the position you have the skills for. Like, hey, maybe you are a great point guard in every way, but just 5-4. Odds are, you will not overcome your height disadvantage. A couple have, but just a couple. One of the shorter players ever to be highly successful was on our team in Carlisle's first season. A one time all - star. I hoped a whole lot he would be our starting point that year. It was not to be, as he suffered a season ending groin injury. Note, this guy hustled like crazy too. And he had fine point guard skills, could shoot the ball, and even play pretty darn good defense despite his lack of height. He had a knack for getting into the legs of the opposing player. Very effective both ends of the floor. Dana Barros was a winner.

The Pistons just offered Bynum $5.7 million to play over the next 2 seasons. Why would they do that? Is it the agenda against winning?

Had the weirdest dream last night. I was watching the Pistons opening game on NBALP BB. Towards the end of the third quarter, Cheeks put Harrelson in the game for the first time. The dude went to scorer's table, pulled off his pants and actually was wearing jorts instead of regular shorts. He started running up and down the court as play resumed while Blaha went on this monologue about jean shorts.

I picture George being quite impressed with the jorts like he's never seen them before. "How 'bout that one, Pistons fans! They're jeans and shorts! You got to wake up pretty early to beat Josh Harrelson."

I didn't dream about it in the subconscious sense but I did vision this in my head after he signed.
I think I saw a picture of him in his UK uniform rockin the jorts.
...it's a good look for him.

BTW, you gotta stop eating Funyuns before bed man! [IMG]

Great article about Drummond. Could've left off all the Darko crap though.

Bynum and Singler in the backcourt. Usual up front.
