Might be too far I went, tragedy stories always release us from sadness.
The article was good because it was detailed. He didn't just say Knight sucked. He gave specific examples as to what Knight does on the court. Compared to just about every other article circulating right now, its got the most meat for fans to digest and talk about. Was it right? Was it the most complete picture of the team? No. But the points were fleshed out and flowed nicely. If anyone can write a counter arguement with the same amount of detail, that would be rockin'! Knight came in rawer than most people expected. His ball handling was horrid. He worked a ton on that and its ok-ish. Without that, he's a liability. With that major issue shored up he can focus on other things. I hope that in addition to adding craftiness to his game, they spend extra time working on pick and roll. Early in the season, you could see that he was thinking too hard about being / learning the PG. Learning is not just repetition but being able to absorb then process that library of experiences. You take your lumps then grow from it. I have a lot of confidence in his ability to develop. He's on his path, we can't dictate it for him. I think the organization has surrounded him with the best environment they can.
I'm not willing to go "Full Darko" on this kid, and make excuses for him for the next 7 to 10 years, but I do think that it's a little early to say where he will end up being on the talent scale. I think he has the potential to be a very solid point that plays great defense. I don't think he will ever pass like Rondo or shoot like Curry, but neither can Chauncey, and he did pretty well for the team.
Knight has been legally able to drink for less than 1 year. He's just still in his development phase. Not sure that now is the time to swap him out for someone at their peak as it may be jumping the gun. He's cheap, serviceable, and has upside.
Man, you never go full Darko. Escpecially not in keeper league.

Pistons unveil new alternate jerseys. Detroit Pistons' Greg Monroe introduces new alternate 'Motor City' jerseys (Video) | Ball Don't Lie - Yahoo! Sports Me likes.
Needs a horse's head and some exhaust pipes......
Not a fan, but not a hater. Prefer the normal strip. Would have preferred a throwback type jersey.
I always wanted to see a black alternate jersey for the Pistons. ...same design as the home-white gear, except black (with black shoes & socks). I'm diggin' the "Motor City" name though!
I found the new jerseys to be pretty sweet. I'm not sold on the colors(yet), but the rest is fine. If I could change one thing, I would make the font bigger and have "Motor" on top, the number in the middle and "City" at the bottom.
Reminded me of this one unfortunately.
Rodney Stuckey's season preview: Rodney Stuckey: 2013-14 Detroit Pistons Preview - Detroit Bad Boys Sort of a gloomy read. That's some sad stuff.
In other words, that's some accurate reporting.
At least we're not paying him gobs of money for such little..................oh, never mind.
Now that's some sad stuff.

I guess this kind of thing could happen to anyone, but it did happen to Charlie. Can't say I'm too surprised. Or maybe he could have spent it on more custom floor mats for his Bentley. I have a feeling that Charlie will be one of those former NBA players declaring bankruptcy in 10 years.
