No NBA team has won game 7 of The Finals on the road since the Washington Bullets beat the Sonics in 1978. Many thought the Pistons would do it in 1988 in Los Angeles but they failed, and then we all thought, hoped, prayed that Pistons would do it in San Antonio in 2005..and we failed.

This series has gone back and forth with each team winning every other game with the Spurs winning the odd games and the Heat winning the even games, but history favors the home team here.

Are you sure you can handle a game 7 ? Make sure you have your meds handy.

Danny Green got killed by Bosh on that final 3-point attempt as well.
It was a clean block but he came down on top of him.

...shoulda been 3 FTs for Green.

The headband may have been the turning point.

Great stat, even though it is depressing.

If any team can do it, it should be a smart, well coached team. I just want to see the black and white celebrating on Miami's floor.

Those two plays generated the conspiracy theorists to question the refs and the cashflow of the NBA bank account:bow1:

One thing for certain, to continue that stat, Lebron will need to go without the headband and the 12 year old girl will sing the national anthem.

If the NBA sanctioned the shoes with Nike, then you are right and this whole series was a sham to begin with. Not a sport to see who really wanted to win, but a game of entertainment that NBA produced over the 10 day period to keep BB fans happy and to generate more cash. Wonder if the rings already have Heat engraved on them....Should I check the NBA site on Wikipedia now to see if the Heat have already been typed in?

If people think the NBA is rigged, why bother watching? Last night was a classic, and caused a lot of NHL vs. NBA bickering.

Green had already landed so it's not a foul, at worst a personal foul.

That was a GREAT game. I can't believe the Spurs lost either, it ain't over till it's over man.
And you are right BDL, that Miami announcer is the absolute WORST. Somebody needs to shut him the hell up.
Every time D Wade acts like he's hurt, I remember the time he got hurt and was out on the court in a friggin' wheelchair. That was the finals too wasn't it? And then what'll you know, he is perfectly fine again.
I cannot recognize Lebron without his head band. Think he'll wear it Thursday night? I do. Do you guys really think his head bands are wider than anyone else's?
    Genobli sucks big time.
Miami fans suck big time too. What were they yelling kind of towards the end? Sounded like fu--, you suck, or something like that, we couldn't make it out.
If only one those guys could have made both free throws........
I'm really going to miss watching basketball after Thurs.
    OK, I'm done rambling here.

About the same sample size as the NBA Finals.

There have only been 5 NBA Finals Game 7's since 1978. That's 35 years.
