    What a great game!

27 lead changes. Durant and Conley with monster games. Gasol and Randolph made it tough for the small but athletic Thunder.

I absolutely HATE when players do this for the wrong reason. Guys do this all of the time. Sometimes, it will be like a 30-point lead or only a couple minutes into the game and guys are doing it. STUPID!!

I think guys often do that to catch their breath or to take a few seconds to concentrate and focus.

Even more stupid is the opponent not trying to run in and steal the ball as they can get pretty careless with it. I remember Iverson rolling it a lot - not sure if he was the one who started it.

May as well gamble for the steal, cause you know they won't take advantage of the 5 on 4 (when they are up).

When NBA players do that, they remind me of inept soccer players.

It's just a solid basketball play. Hardly ever goes wrong. They are taking advantage of a loophole and it gives them a full 24 seconds to run a plan instead of 16 seconds. That extra time allows a few more screens to be set and a few more options to develop.

Theoretically, it would make sense to do it on every single offensive possession of the game when inbounding if the defense didn't choose to thwart it.

And if they are really time constrained (less than a shot clock's worth of time), it is essential.

Not sure if it's true or not and I am not the one to spread gossip, but on ARTH today, Tony Kornheiser said that the woman had three divorced husbands and a 4th was found dead floating in a pool..so she his well know around South Beach and Noah better not try any retaliation when they come back to Miami to play game 5.

Look at these guys, acting like maniacs, over a basketball game.

    It's just a game.
