they didn't have money for Ebron and Houston's toe was bad. They gave up some guaranteed money though.

Cornerback Chris Houston and safety Louis Delmas are gone from the team.
No replacements seem to have popped up, even though pass coverage is weak.

At least we play Jacksonville, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Da Raiders in the pre-season.
The Suh situation really bothers me. I hope he's gone next year...

I hope we can trade him for a first round pick.

He's our team leader, yet he doesn't show up to lead.
He fails to renegotiate his contract.
    Seems like he wants out.
We're 11-21 over the last 2 years of his leadership.
A first rounder may not happen.

That has to be one of the better two year stretches in Lions history.

With a top dollar contract there will be plenty of interest Suh.

Still trying to figure out a prediction for this season.
I really don't think we'll matter (playoffs) yet in the NFL.
Maybe, the plan is to win every game 42-40.....

Schedule looks tough, 8-8 would be great.

Agreed. If a Detroit Lion can't win "the biggest loser," they need to rename the show.

Why? I only remember that his teammates didn't like or respect him. Also the Mickey Mouse ears. What was the deal with him? Worse than Brett Favre? Difficult to fathom...

So much talent around him and he just sucked. Story came out about one of his lineman intentionally not blocking to try to get him pounded and knocked out of the game... and it worked. That's not a good QB when your line just can't stand you.

    That was Lomas Brown.
He was a vet and THE leader on the O-line.
...Not like he was just some rookie with an attitude problem or an agenda.

I know there were some references to to t sexual " preferences" but it likely would've been a non-issue just like other guys in the nfl if he wasn't a complete A-hole. And yeah, that's taboo to intentionally let your qb get hurt and almost unheard of to admit it with pride.

We already went through this, Lomas kind of backed out of that.

Lomas never backed out of it. He admitted it, he got called out on it, and then he admitted it again. One of the stupidest things a Lion has ever done....and that is saying a lot given this franchise.

Yes, admitting that he did it was stupid.
