Funny the Pistons have been the only team to win 3 road games in the 2008 playoff series and the only tea, in the elite eight to break through with a road victory in the second round. However in some media minds they would be probably only the third or fourth favorite to win the title.

By the time I tuned into this game at the beginning of the 4th, it was already over. Don't know what happen but the defending champs held serve and even though the Hornets still have HCA, the pressure is on them.

Hornets win again. Home court looks to have a strangle hold in the rest of the conference semis.

Hornets know how to turn it on in the second half. When David West and Chris Paul are on their game, its hard to beat them. So much for Ernie Johnson and Tim Leglers Spurs in Six song. This was in going 7 unless the Spurs come out tight in game six. Hornets just need to be within 3 at halftime and come out like they have been doing in each home game. if they do, then the Spurs are cooked at home Thursday...

Spurs are in trouble. The Hornets have just blown them away at home - although the Spurs themselves are currently 5-0 at the At&t Center.

These are some weird playoffs with Pistons being the only team able to win on the road in this round. Looks like there may be 3 series going full 7.

West on the floor after getting bumped. This might be the end of the Hornets run.

Just means that he can win at home....can they do it on the road Monday?? West should be OK by then...Byron hopes..

Can't leave Manu open though..his threes were deadly ...and so was Horry :)

NO was pretty screwed when Tyson went down in Game 5 w/ the toe injury. Add DW on top of that, and i don't know if they can pull it out in Game 7.

Pop makes adjustments. Freakin' Ime Udoka played 21 minutes last night. Timmy had the most minutes with 35. Spurs played various rotations. Flip would have played all starters 48 minutes

Hornets got jobbed on the homecooking calls. They will win in 7 at home.

I think the Spurs win a Game 7 on the road. That's what champions do. I'll be rooting for the Hornets though.

yeah all those offensive foul calls were ridiculous, i mean a couple were legit but then the spurs started flopping all over the place and getting the whistle

Damn man, go Spurs. Go Ginobili, I cant believe how many threes he buried on that game.... the Hornets just let him do his job. I love when the spurs win thanks to Manu. Tim is still not playing the way he used to. And Iudoka seems to fit the rotation very well.

I hate Tony "I share my wife more than the ball" Parker. Sucker.

Assuming West's back is okay, it's time to flip a coin as to the winner.

Spurs up 49-42 at the half as Manu gets hot in the second qtr. Remember this game is in New Orleans. The Spurs led at halftime of games 1,2 and 5 and got blown out in the third qtr and loss. Let see what team shows up in the third qtr:sssh:

Spurs are in the driver's seat at the end of the third quarter with a 15-point lead. It's their game to lose. Believe that NO will mount a fierce comeback attempt in the 4th quarter, though.

The Spurs look like scruffy pirates. I don't like scruffy pirates.
