On a espn chicago radio station Ben Gordon said that Joe Dumars would like to use Stuck, Rip and Gordon as a three guard attack like he was a part of back in the day. Im alright with this as long as Joe brings in a legit center like Tyson Chandler who, surprisingly, plays just like Ben Wallace. Stuck Rip/Gordan Prince Villanueva Chandler In other news Oberto got waived and Ron Artest verbally committed to the Lakers (sorry Cavs)...sike!
I'm fine with that too if it's used correctly, against the right match-ups andw/ two legitimate rebounding bigs in the line-up. Rip's a pretty good rebounder for his size, i'm not sure on Stuck, and Ben is pretty bad.
It could have, if AI and Rip weren't practically driving Stuckey crazy, "Pass the ball" "No pass me the ball" "No I'm open" "No I'm the captian" "No I'm the 1st ballot HOF'er" On top of that Tayshaun Prince was the PF.......Naw, I think the 3 guard attack "could" work.
Don't worry. Rip is on the trading block. Just a matter of time. My favorite player last year was Bynum.
Hey, Roscoe, don't worry. Joe will find a coach with a creative mind, who can create a 4 Guard Attack. Watch out NBA. How about this lineup: Bynum Stuckey Gordon Hamilton Brown
Naw I believe Joe said, " I'm probably going to make another move......but If not I'm comfortable going into the season.......blah.....blah....Is that cool with you Ben?" "Huh...what....yeah $55million...sounds cool to me...."
Bynum and Dyess were the highlights of last season, it's all we could muster out of that pile of rubble that used to be our pride and dignity.
Whats the over under on how many games into the season Ben gets sick of coming off the bench? im going with 20 tops.
Let's not forget it will be Rodney Stuckey orchestrating that 3 guard attack. At least you'll have a good chance to catch a pass if your seats are within the first 8 rows of the court.
Did he say this supposed 3 guard attack would be with Rip, Stuckey and Gordon specifically though? If not, whats to say Joe wasn't talking about Bynum, Stuckey and Gordon?
Bynum, Stuckey and Gordon is the deluxe package. It doesn't matter either way though because the Pistons depend on their bigs to get them points in the paint.
