Pick a bust with the decent ORL pick and someone decent in the 2nd round.

Hopefully he learned something about picking top 14 players by now. At that level you don't have to go for long shots, just pick someone who can play.

He probably will trade at least one of those picks.

I agree max. I think one or 2 of those picks will be traded.

Four rookies, combined with the young guys we already have, is too much. We need a bridge between our starters and our kids.

Not really Jammer. Those NBA benches are pretty long and can fit lots of butts on them. :frusty:

I think the Pistons will take:

1st round, #11: Marco Belinelli, a 6-6 SG from Italy
1st round, #30: Morris Almond, a 6-6 SG from Rice
2nd round, #57: Leonardo Mainoldi, a 6-9 PF from Argentina
2nd round, #60: Lanny Smith, a 6-3 PG from Houston

Please no more international players!!!:gun1: I rather see battle tested college kids that have played deep into the NCAA Tournament.

Let'S get some players for a rebuild in that draft; I'd love to see some young, hungry cats out there instead of vets that say sentences like "I didn't take the exit too hard".
Besides, you can always use young players- and next year, Maxiell, AJ, Fino (if still there) all will be a year older.
But I can imagine Joe trades some bust or a player that pans out at another team- he knows how to manage that...

Why do we keep getting the last picks in the round for our picks? EVERY YEAR it seems like we are getting 29 and 59. We have only had the best record once. What is the deal?

Interesting...at least you are going with maturity. Can you tell me more about Leonardo Mainoldi? Personality, toughness and aggressiveness. Pistons will need a different PF by the end of the year.

Why not trade one of the first round picks and maybe a second to Indiana for someone like marquis daniels. Indiana has 18 players and wants to get rid of three players probably for draft picks. With Marquis we could let delfino go to spain and end this crap with him, and he would be a great back up for tay and rip. I mean i am not sure how plausible this is but if we could pull it off I would like that move.

Why would we add 2 6-6 SGs to a roster that already has Prince, Hamilton and Delfino? With our best 2 big men in their 30s, we should probably be drafting
    the best size available.

Actually, I didn't put any thought into who I thought the Pistons would draft. I just took them from here: NBADraft.net | Home :)

No the reason i said we shoudl trade away a pick is because we have 2 first rounders and we could keep whichever one we thought would get us a better pick and if we don't keep delfino becuz he wants to go to spain we should replace him with a wingman, which Indiana has stockpiled.

The Orlando pick should be around lucky #13. I say we package our first three picks and try to move into the Top 5. If we can't do that we should trade the picks and get someone like Channing Frye, Dalembert, Jamaal Magloire or Pachulia.

I think we should package all 4 picks together and trade for Darko.

Oh man. I don't think Orlando will fall for that Bill.

Yeah, we might have to include Cato in a Sign and Trade to get them to bite.

Good points. Once we lost Arroyo, we aren't really left with any tradeable assets.
