Aren't you limited to 1 vote per day from your computer? I'm no David Lightman, but that script would have to be pretty fancy.
Am I the only one that thinks that it's stupid to have the All-Star balloting a week into the season? I hate All-Star games in all sports. It's a popularity contest. They should call it the All Popular Game. Ok, I'm done now. :rant2:
NBA All-Star 2010 Ballot - Thank You For Voting my ballot: WEST: C - A. McDyess (rick kamla called and he wants Yao back on the ballot) F - L. Scola F - T. Ariza G - A. Brooks G- C. Billups EAST: C- R. Wallace F - C. Villanueva F - T. Prince G - B. Gordon G - R. Stuckey obviously, these things are a joke.
How is it possible that Ricky Davis is not on the WC ballot? ...this thing has absolutely no cred at all.
Rubio seems to be 3rd in the Western Conference all-star voting behind only Kobe and Chris Paul. Rubio is already going to be in an all-star game as a rookie in a shortened season? That's fairly incredible.
Considering his hype, not surprising. He's really flashy. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win ROY over Kyrie either.
He's only played in 23 NBA games in his life and he's never scored more than 18 points. He's only averaging 11.4 points per game with a .384 shooting percentage... that is pretty rare for a guard to get to the all-star game while being such a low and inefficient scorer. Has there ever been one lower? Here are the good stats though- he has never had a game where he didn't have more assists than turnovers. 192 assists to 69 turnovers on the year. He has 112 more assists than the next highest guy on the Wolves. He has more than twice as many steals as the next highest guy. He's their 2nd leading rebounder, behind only Love. So, the guy is doing everything pretty well, but isn't a great scorer. He deserves some accolades, but I'm just surprised that the fans are paying this much attention to him- especially since he's in MN. Maybe Kevin Love has brought more eyes on him than otherwise.
As a casual internet fan, tuning in to the Timberwolves for a couple hours and watching Love and Rubio is a pretty solid choice. I'm not surprised that he's 3rd behind Kobe and Paul.
Fans vote for style over substance.... from the China block voting for Houston.... Didn't AI get in his year in Detroit? (far from his All-Star days)
If AI was on the Ballot this year, he'd get voted in. I guess people appreciate his ability to urinate in front of a crowd.
I tried to vote for Jonas Jerebko as the Eastern Conference starting Small Forward, but the clueless NBA listed him as a Power Forward on the All-Star ballot.
