Actually, he's a fantasy stud, when he's healthy. His averages for 2005/2006 are 20ppg, >80% from the line, 49% from the field, 7 REB, 4 AST, 1 ST, 1 3PT. Great numbers, really. I'm crossing my fingers that with NJ fighting for a playoff spot, he'll return to form this year.
I'd say Al Jefferson and Biedrins have a chance of being POY if we are talking about guys who went undrafted. Lewis without a doubt for guys who were darfted, dropped, then picked up.
Not saying he sucks but those aren't numbers to really rave about. Scoring is his strength. you couldn't say he excels in any other category. Top 70 fantasy player I reckon.
He just gave you two other cats. He gets to the line alot and his field goal pct. is excellent for the amount of shot attempts he takes. Add 7 boards into the equation from a small forward and you've got a pretty awesome player.
meh, i guess i'm not sold. i want more 3's and/or steals from a SF. and i just checked, those numbers were rounded up rather nicely. you might not say its much, but every 0.1 counts. for 05-06 try 3.8 AST, 0.8 STL, 0.8 3PM and only 0.2 BLK. I need to see some D man!!
For as athletic as he is, he should be giving more D. But Pts, %s, Ast were great, Reb/ ST average, 3Pt adequate. Not a bad waiver-wire pick-up, for sure.
MMJoe, we are still trying to figure out how Pat Rileys doing it too with the Heat? Do you have Shaq on your team??
Roscoe in this league I have won five out of the last six weeks to get into the top six and now 5.5 games ahead of the pastor. Actually your microwaves were the only team to beat me in that stretch as I did outlast Mo and Fd the past two weeks. I am behind to Big Daddy right now this week, but I think I can over take him by Friday even with Labron James ailing Now the drebabys did knock you off twice the Open league
Definitely didn't outlast FD in the last couple of weeks. I cleaned your clock twice this year. You must be refering to those scrubs Mo and #1.
With as many players as I have dropping or dnp I'll take the bet you smoke by me by tomorrow! Was ahead 7-2 last week then collapse, lost 3-6,this has been a bad year in this league for me. Looks like I'll hold onto 2nd in my other. Cross fingers.
Re: Peja yeah, i mean hopefully after this week i can sew up a top 2 finish and get a bye for the first week of the playoffs. so i've got that extra week to wait that won't hurt me. if he's not right by the start of week 2 he's gone. little risk i think, and i didn't have to drop anyone good. i guess me or FD were the only ones in a position to nab him now. (or someone not in the main playoff picture)
I thought about picking up Peja a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn't with all the injuries I had. Things have not gotten better with Okufur down, David Lee down, Ridnour hurt, and Diaw just coming back playing limited minutes. My team is taking on water and falling in the rankings like a rock.
Thanks!! I am just lucky my team was strong right out the gate and built a big lead so that now that I am struggling I can still get a playoff spot. I just need to hold a few more weeks. This week is going to be tough. FD already had more games than me and with the injuried players not playing makes it worse. It is going to take some crafty GM skills to get out with a 4-5 or 3-6 loss.
