MMJD posting in the Darko bizaroo thread does nothing for me. I have enough folks there to keep me busy. lol. Believe me, bballjay is MORE than enough! Besides MMJD appears to only post in the fantasy pages which is fine for this exercise. Part of the requirement can be that he needs to post at least 2 times a day so I can see that beautiful avatar I conjure up for him. :icon_evil:
Tough loss indeed. I was sweating bullets last night watching the Clippers/Nuggets game hoping Tim Thomas would grab 10 boards and swat a couple shots away. My guards got the job down with Stephen Jackson ,Ray Allen and R. Lewis each blocking shots I believe. You squeaked out winning the Rebounding by 4 boards. This was a true battle I can't wait until to the rematch.

MP, I'm game for anything you can dream up (within the confines of PF.C, of course). But I think that you should put some thought into figuring out how to slow my boys down, instead of dreaming up fancy torture that will never happen. DWade has just set the tone for the week ahead. Don't look now, but he just dropped 33 with 7 boards, 13 dimes, 2 blocks, and 56% from the floor, 93% from the stripe. Get used to it. What you got?
I started out on PF.C with a reasonable number of posts, but found out pretty quickly that I have a particular skill for putting an end to threads. For the moment, I'm just consumed with fantasy ball. I can't get too serious about early season Pistons trials and tribulations. They will make the playoffs, and as for the last few years, if they are lucky with injuries, they'll have a shot at the title. Their game has changed, but they still have a lot of talent. If MP wins this week, I'll take a week off from my fantasy obsession, and make a few posts on the Stones, wearing whatever Avatar MP sees fit. If MP loses, I'd like him to change his team name to MAINMANFD for a week. Simple, sweet, and definitely puts him in his place.

you probably could have kept a couple of those guys. but i'd probably start looking at doing a couple of 2 for 1 deals. you could get 2 very good players for someone like CB, Bosh or Melo.
Its almost impossible to make trades in this league. Thats one thing I miss about Novice. MoTown - Smush Parker, Stackouse, Haywood, Marbury, thats all that I can think of. All they did for me was create TO's and shoot low %. I hope they work out better for anyone brave enough to take them on.
Max, This is where the big boys play!!! LOL!! It is very hard to trade in the advanced league especially when you are trying to trade with teams at the top of the standings. Most of those teams are already good because either they drafted well or made a few FA pickups that got there team off to a good start. Most likely teams in the top 3 or 4 spots don't need much so those owners will not be looking to overturn their whole roster or trade away big pieces of their teams in most cases. Try trading with teams below your team in the standings.
With that said. Anyone interested in making a fair trade offer? Just come strong the 1st time and we will see if we can get it done.
BTW - I need 3-pt shooting and steals. If you want Bosh then bring something to the table. Lots of offers for Bosh so far but nothing has been worth it.
