You do know there is no draft lottery for next season if you tank this season right??
Eating sour Potatoes this week served up by Taters 6-2 win.
It was a short week and 3 categories were very very close. Despite both of our teams playing well, I had a feeling one of us was going to get screwed.
5 weeks left...
I guess my rein of winning big will end this week. The short week did me in and injured players finally caught up to me.
To quote Motown from last week
Warthog have you decided on the trade proposal??
#1, I've sent you a response to your trade proposal.
That makes sense. Would you have any interest in Kobe?
I'm not a big Kobe fan, but would consider it if the price was right. Considering that he might have surgery and be out for 6 weeks or try and play injured, I'd expect that the price wouldn't be top dollar.
Is your 'trading block' current??? I just sent you a blockbuster offer...
I just updated my trading block. I am open to moving Rashard Lewis, David Lee, Boris Diaw, Jeff Green and John Salmons. Not looking to take on any scrubs in return for Rashard Lewis or David Lee.
my team is making a recovery. was able to battle winless to a draw despite not having caron.
Very nice showing this week. I thought being up 7-2 going into Friday I was going to come out with aleast a 5-4 win.:nerd2:
Tater, finally Darko is mine! Now I'm gonna win it all!!!
LOL. I knew you would pounce on him. Good luck with that guy.
webz wombatz would like to welcome 3 new players to the team; Allen Iverson, Peja Stojakovic and Devin Harris.
The wombatz are sorry to see depart a number of excellent players who have served the team well this season; Chauncey Billups, Michael Redd and Joe Smith.
Reasons for the trade were not disclosed per team policy.
Chris Paul is also expected to sign with the team sometime tomorrow. Details of the deal are being finalised according to NBA league sources.
The Winless Wonders have traded guard Kirk Hinrich to the Rapid Ralphies in exchange for guard Jason Terry.
Winless GM: We are very happy to welcome Jason Terry to our team. We wish Kirk Hinrich the best. We think this move will help produce more offensive power and help the flow of our offense creating space for our other shooters. We felt we needed to make this move as the team had been sluggish of late.
Interviewer: Do you have a comment regarding rumors of other deals happening before the trade dead line?
Winless GM: We have no comment at this time.
Interviewer: Do you think this move will keep you in 1st place and ahead of the Dre Baby's, Loanshark and other teams that have closed in of late?
Winless GM: I think this move makes us better, but our goal is making it to the playoffs. We must stay healthy the rest of the way.
The MC Jammer Pants suck and have done absolutely nothing to improve their team this season despite receiving several decent trade proposals (sorry #1 ;)).
Some fans of the Pants are calling for Jammer's head. However, Jammer doesn't give up easily. When asked to comment he responded:
The MC Jammer Pants currently sit 12th in the league, are getting weggied by a hapless Tater squad this week and are 10 games under .500 on the season.
Jammer, you don't even know who you are playing. You are playing SLIPPY this week.:nerd2:
I take offense in being mistaken for a Tater.
