Well, a successful season for me. Making the playoffs with 16 teams and finishing in 5th place is pretty darn good. So many great GM's like Webz, Jammer, Wart, #1Pfan, Motown, and Slippy didn't get in so I feel pretty lucky. That was my goal, to make the playoffs...mission accomplished! I'm just glad that as of today I don't have to set my basketball or hockey lineups any longer this season. I didn't mind the 16 team thing. It was a huge challenge. You guys already know what I didn't like so I won't get into it again. My team couldn't put two wins in a row together the first half of the season. Then I was undefeated for 9 or 10 weeks going into the final week of the season. I beat some really good teams too. Then two losses and I was toast. But I finished with a win over Cinderfella (Ralphie) and that's always fun because we have a little rivalry going... Thanks for doing the league, Commissioner Motown. I really thought a few weeks ago we would see a Dre & Webz final. Webz never made it though and Max has the hot hand. Good luck in the finals guys. It should be a great battle.
Its me and LADre in the Finals. Here is hoping for a clean and injury free series. I need my guys to pull out just one more week.... I did not think I would make it this far so whatever happends is going to happen I suppose. we will see.
I can't check because I'm blocked at work, but I believe the final is ten days to two weeks long. Don't make the same mistake others have by thinking it ends before it does...

Yes the finals start tomorrow with me and Max and it will last thru the end of the season Wednesday April 16....so we have 9 days of competition....good luck Max!!
Good Luck Max and Dre!!! Let the best team win. I tried to pull out a win, but Paul Pierce sitting out hurt my come back attempt. I will happly take a 3rd or 4th place finish in Advance League anyday.
I can see my big guns La Bron and T-Mac being rested since their teams have clinched playoff spots, but Baron Davis, my team leader in 3 pointers, steals and assists should play out the season as the Warriors are still fighting for that 8th spot. I think I lost in last years finals when I had both LBJ and T-mac too, and their respective coaches rested them down the stretch....oh yeah, some nice GM of year smooth moves by #1 did me in too...
Good luck to you also. Do you have any special requests, like no roster changes or whatnot? I could go either way. If not then we can just keep things open. I may have to drop Ray Allen depending on how much they rest him.
I prefer to keep it open....Me and #1 dropped and picked up players all the way to the last day.. That way it appeared like it was one long game and we were coaches making in game adjustments......but if you want to lock it, let it happen at midnite so that we can review our rosters and make any final adjustments. My leading rebounder and shot blocker Chris Kaman was already shut down for the season...if anybody else has that fate, one of us might be screwed ...is that bad word on this site?.
