Not only do I still have Blake Griffin out for another three weeks, but now I find out that my second leading three pt threat in Paul Pierce will be out for two weeks... Just wondering if I can hold on to my 4th place overall spot for the next couple of weeks..... Just wondering..how are you all with Pistons players doing fantasy stats wise?? Can't imagine any of them doing well the past week...
I'm wondering if there will be enough season left once my guys start playing again to climb out of the hole into which I am rapidly falling.
I don't miss fantasy basketball in the least. I kind of miss football so I'll switch that out with hockey next year. But basketball...not so much. Not sure why...
I really don't like carrying injured players on my roster, but I would have liked to jump on Tyrus Thomas before someone else did. But in this league, you have to be willing to pick up an injured guy a week or two before they are due back. It's tough. But the competition level is why I enjoy playing in this league. I am happy with my Yi pickup though. Now if only he'd stop taking shots away from Lopez. Although, they should help each in other the long run I hope. More floor spacing from Yi, less double-teams for Lopez...
You wish. Lopez and Yi are like Hamilton and Gordon. Getting in each others way and never going with the hot hand. Injured players are a gamblers paradise. Maybe, just maybe...
I am carrying Pierce, Artest and Griffin on my injured list this week and part of last week and barely holding on. (to fourth place overall) But at least I am doing better than the Pistons when they had three of their stars on the shelf. Hopefully all three will be back by the end of next week and then......LOOK OUT!!
The last couple of weeks I have been beating up on these injured battered teams. Hopefully I can build a nice lead. You never know what may happen down the road I may need that cushion.
That was a great matchup last week Winless. It came down to the last day with 5 cats still up for grabs. Very happy with the 6-3 victory. Your team has some firepower.
Thanks. You got the best of me. I am kicking myself that I didn't hit the submit button on my line up for Monday and left some points on the bench. It would not have mattered much anyway. You have a very good team as well. I am going to have to put my GM hat on and make some moves. LOL
Three of the four injured Sprockets have made it back this week. Watch out MTP. Now if someone would just say how Kevin Martin's MRI went yesterday. He could be days away from playing again.
Locstah's Lamb Skins have been STRUGGLING with injuries so far this year. Gasol is killing me and not only that but now Garnett's out for up to two weeks and Sheed's out for a couple of games at least. Hoping things go my way soon. If it weren't for the injury bug I'd probably be in 8th place right now instead of 9th. lol
Wherever he is, he's setting his lineups. Our matchup is pretty close so far... 0.12 diff in free throw shooting 1 diff in threes 4 diff in points 1 diff in boards
I'm alive bro. Just been busy building my comedy empire. Opening up 5 clubs throughout the state doesn't afford me a lot of time for a lot, but I make time to come through the forum when I can and update my FB account on my phone while on the go. Good luck Sprockets. I know you want revenge this week, but I can't let you get it. Much more competitive this time around but it still won't be enough. And Roscoe, the alternative answer to your question is... I'm in 2nd place with Webz in my sights hoping to catch some ground this week going to into our second matchup. I'm determined to provide him with his second loss of the season.
