nice move motown, Frye could have one helluva season; I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I still want to know how Stephen Curry will pan out with the other 10 guards on the Warriors roster. But C's are pretty valid and if Frye really becomes the double double threat many expect him to be, you've made a pretty darn good move

No chance in hell he comes close to a double-double. He will be a SG in a C body. But he could be a nice source of 3's. I think 12 and 5 with 2 three's is realistic. He won't get any blocks either.

But a nice acquisition all the same. There are still lots of guys I want to pick up but I don't want to drop anyone just yet.

Not sure what the pre-draft rankings were but I'm surprised no one took Outlaw in a 12 team league.

Yeah, with the smaller amount of teams there are a lot of quality free agents out there. Its hard to drop anyone, but I just couldn't miss out on getting a Center in the Phoenix Suns system.

I attended the Warriors-Lakers preseason game Tuesday night and Curry looked good ....when they passed him the ball. Not sure what happen to Don Nelson that night, but Keith Smart was coaching and he only played Curry about 16 minutes. The warriors had a chance to beat the Lakers in the closing minutes, with Curry out there, but Turiaf and CJ Watson froze him out and took all of the shots in the last 3 mins.....Curry was being guarded by a guy that the Lakers waived yesterday Tom Kelati???

Now last night, they had a bunch of players injured, so he played 38 minutes, and took 13 shots and had 10 assists, so we really don't know of his real impact... If you want to give up on him later, I might consider swapping him for the veteran Andre Miller...but lets wait to see how the first 10 days go as I too am reluctant to let anyone go yet.

I really considered picking up Frye. When you look at his stats over the preseason he really doesn't rebound the ball at all and he just shoots 3's and his FG % is low for a center. If you need some 3's and 10 pts a game then it is worth it I suppose.

I was tempted, but I already had 2 Trailblazers on my roster. I am still debating it.

You got it all wrong, man. It's the cheekbones. Bone structure is everything.

I think I must have discovered him when he was with the Seattle Supersonics.

I'm afraid Blake is gametime no go for the next six weeks - broken kneecap.

You've got three or four player games on me this week and Granger is hobbling around on a sore foot. Sounds even to me. Want I should drop a few guys from my lineup to give you more of a chance?

Wait, here's our mascot with a far more eloquent response...

    A p!!!ssy.

    How appropriate. lol.

Btw, you call that collection of sorry characters of yours a team? I guess the replacement refs needed to find a home somewhere after an agreement was reached. lol. Besides, if you drop a little bit of trash in a junkyard does anyone even notice?

    Let's do this!

yep puts a damper on both my team and the Clips....

I have to ride out the first week and to see if I can afford to keep him on the bench or waive him.... which brings me to the next question for your Motown....How come Yahoo Fantasy leagues don't give you that extra spot to hold valuable injured players??

They got rid of the injured list spot when the NBA did a couple years back. Besides, the three bench spots we have allocated can serve the same purpose.

Thanks....Blake is a rookie unknown commodity..the number one pick!!

OK be honest GMS...would you hold him for 6-8 weeks or dump him...for some one else to [strike]steal[/strike] claim off waivers..

i would have one of my 3 bench slots kept for what i considered top half of the playable players (aka the players actually on folks teams), but unless it was less then a week or two i wouldn't let two bench slots go to injured players... if it was a lower point getter I'd let him go.

From what i pick up from people though Blake was considered rookie of the year mat from summer league and preseason, I'd hold on to him... or find somebody that really wants him for a trade

I'm sure I will have a loss to you Max. But I'm not too concerned whether I win 9-0 or 8-1.

Tough call. I'm not sure what I'd do in your position. I'd maybe hold him for 1 week and see how your team does. If they struggle you may need to cut bait. I think it's important to get off to a good start.

Max cut Kevin Love and I'd say they'd have quite similar value and will miss the same amount of time.
