Sometimes I look at my roster and can't believe it has done as well as it has (knock on wood)

Yea, it will be interesting to see how your team fairs now that Durant is out 2-3 weeks.

haha. However, I did lose BK and Joe Johnson for a couple games each last week, taking a hit on 3 pointers. I expect BK to be fine and continue his underwhelming season. All my PGs are pretty mediocre except for maybe George Hill. btw...that Terry for Harden trade offer is still open

Johnson is more of a concern with Yahoo reporting he may occasionally sit games from here on out

You know I at least got detteam to go check the Internets to verify the non-injury....

Durant's injury info might not have been known about that early. You do know that people can get injured in their sleep, don't you?

I was wondering if yahoo, espn, et al offered scoring using a player's average weekly game rather than the sum of their games in a week. That would seem to eliminate the number of games mismatches that occur. A team's weekly score would be the sum of their ten player's average game during that week. The percent categories are already baseless so could remain as is.

Actually, dealing with the number of games played per week is part of the fantasy strategy in many sports (baseball, basketball, hockey, etc.).

I guess. But a manager's tools for dealing with a lot fewer games than his or her opponent are pretty limited. Basically you can drop players with fewer games and try to find guys among the available pool with more. That seems more a lose now or lose later option if you end up dropping somebody good with two games in favor of a player on the scrap heap with four or five.

I agree. In weekly leagues, there is more strategy. You often have to decide on things like "Do I want 3 games of Kobe Bryant or 4 games of Rodney Stuckey?".

I'm hoping that Al Harrington is going to prove a shrewd pick up after his return yesterday...

This is turning out to be a very competitive league where almost anyone is a contender. I don't think I've seen a league where so many teams with win percentages so close. We have a ton of teams near the .500 mark.

The playoff race should get interesting in a hurry.

Maybe the playoffs should be extended to put all teams that finish over 500 in the playoffs....which means maybe 10 instead of 8??

    Of course I say this when I am # 9 looking in...

Or, we could shrink it and just put the top 4 teams in....unless I fall out of the top 4, of course.

Let's skip the playoffs and just award the title to the #1 ranked team!

Let's start this week over. I was traveling all day yesterday and forgot to set my lineup.
