Hey mossy, you knocked me out in the football semi final and I settled for Bronze. Now you can knock me out in the basketball semi final. Pretty cool, huh? Although it IS cooler for you than for me. .. :)

It looks like you may get your revenge. I don't think I stand a chance due to injuries. I just had to drop KG since he may not come back until the playoffs. Rudy Gay may be done for the season as well. There is no telling when D. Rose will step on the floor. Nene is also hurt. And Tyson Chandler.............well, when is he NOT hurt? :crying:

Chandler was dropped because of his injury - you didnt have to pick him up haha... anyways, chances are he plays next game according to the man himself.

You outnumber me by several guys.I had to dump Vucavic who was maybe my best player lately anticipating he won't return in time to help me. I honestly don't see how I can beat YOU.

Well, I sure am having fun with all 5 guys who played this week. Not!!

I am winning Turnovers of course, and I have no excuse for losing the percentage categories, and I suppose it is my fault too for not thinking ahead when I drafted this team months ago and looking for guys who actually play some games in week two of the playoffs.

Have had to say goodbye to Metta World Peace. Thanks for a solid season mate. To think , he went undrafted in a league as deep as ours!

That P.O.S. Lindsey hunter sat my hottest player Goran Dragic for "rest" AKA lottery positioning. The league should punish them by counting those games as victories for lottery purposes. I never liked Hunter as a player and now I despise him period.

That essentially kills my hopes of making this a contest, Mossy. Those are the breaks. Your team is playing very well.

Why don't you just use your moves to pick up his backup? Oops. I forgot. You don't have any moves left.

    :hoops:

    Have a nice day.

"James may sit out Friday's game to rest, and when asked about his status he stated he plans to play, "but we'll see.""

Now that the streak is over, I think LeBron should take a few days off.

These close match ups are incredible. Three categories separated by 1, and two more by just three.

Congrats to Mossy on reaching the Finals by the way. Darth, what's the thinking behind picking up Vucevic last night, given that he has no game today?

It ain't over yet. I still have to win FG %, which happens to be neck and neck. Here's to hoping Danny Green can't hit the broad side of a barn....lol

True - maybe I'm being a bit harsh on Darth - it could be tough to retrieve rebounds if Chandler and Nene don't play. Blocks are obviously long gone.

I didnt care. I had pretty much conceded this match days ago. Vucevic's statistics wouldn't have helped me today anyhow. I needed threes and bot defensive statistics. Lame told me he played well yesterday so I snatched him up for next weeks bronze medal match...against... ahem...YOU!!! Lmao :-)

Technically I'm still alive but your team has been shooting at about a .550 clip all week (I exaggerated a tad). Hunter sitting Goran two consecutive days didnt help, but you would have won points anyhow. I've made the playoffs in this competitive league every year, but I get booted every time in my first match (even with really good teams and a a bye) every time. most likely by Laimbeer, lol. So I was very happy to make the playoffs, no simple task with all the very good players and win a round and still possibly geta medal. Plus I am probably the only one in here that hasnt followed the NBA for years. It helps to follow a sport because you know more about whats going on with the players and their teams rosters but I always tell people it isn't something you need to do. .

Speaking of which, you guys should give baseball a try . Every player plays almost every day. Constant action. Laimbeer is trying to set up a league this year. I won't be in it this year, most likely, but you should try it even if you don't know any of the players.

Congratulations to you, we'll played, and good luck in the finals!!!
