Advanced League - 2008-2009 Banter and Old Fashion Trash Talk

Wow. That sure turned out close. You're a great manager Webz. You've just been super unlucky in finals matches. Nothing wrong with all that silver you have. Basketball is the absolute worst fantasy sport for sitting guys at the end.

IMO, Webz had the best team by far this year, but kudos to Ralphi's team for finding a way to pull off the upset.

Congrats to Jammer on the bronze and to detteam on the consolation bracket.

funny thing, after losing GWall for a couple of games and Al Jefferson for the rest of the season I didn't expect to even make it to the play offs and no way to win it all. You're right webz, the 2nd week I was really lucky, with my guys playing more mins than yours. Also, I had a couple of good additions that turned out to be worthy (Biedrins, Noah)- but it's true, you need a whole lot of luck to win it all.

I'd rather have the banter for the novice league championship than the A league NIT banter...wanna trade? ;)

That league is way underrated.

Overall, yes, you have more talent in advanced,IMO. But you still have some equally talented folks in the Novice...just not quite as many.

Not really...just #1 sounds better than #7 ;)

I'm bummin just a little about my A league season. My team got off to a slow start due to injuries that lasted longer than I thought at draft time...but it got rolling later in the season. If the reg season was maybe 2 weeks longer I think I coulda grabbed that last ticket to the big dance. On the bright side, I learned a couple lessons for next season.

yeah, banter for mixing up the words banter and banner for my title that proves I am nerdy enough for playing fantasy basketball with fans from overseas I will probably never meet in real life which is somehow another reason for receiving banter
