damnit! I dunno what happened. I always set my rosters for the coming week on Sunday evening. I didn't make any player changes this past week.

Low & behold I started stat-tracker late this afternoon to discover I somehow left Melo off my roster today. He turned out to be the difference between winning rebounds and a tie for steals. My apologies to the front runners.

Not only is Darth continuing his quest to lead the league in 'Most Transactions' for the season, he is also going for the world record for the number of times Ronny Turiaf can be added in one season!

That makes 3 thus far shooter.:hoops:

Also, I had a 10 steal lead on Motown going into yesterday, but his squad put up 24 steals in one day! Now THAT'S got to be a record.

    Ginobili - 5
    Foye - 4
    Artest - 4
    Butler - 4
    Wade - 2
    J.Richardson - 2
    M.Daniels - 2
    L.Williams - 1

    Unbelievable...

LOL. He has become my default guy. Every time someone sucks, I drop him for Turiaf. that way I don't have to look for a replacement! :D

Took a chance on Arenas. I figure my team is on the cusp, but I can't win anything without him, so why not?

If it pays off I go maybe from ninth to sneaking in the playoffs and making a little noise..

If it fails, what's the difference between ninth and twelfth place?

you're one hell of a gambler, Darth. Taking the risk or adding Arenas was a pretty good move imho!

Sorry I beat down on you so harshly Motown. I didn't want to push you all the way down to 9th, trust me!

I honestly thought you might have posed a bigger challenge but in the end it was only your ridiculous Steal numbers that gave you a chance in 1 category.

I hope you can get back to your early season form so we can have a legit matchup next time.

    All the best! :grouphug:

I have been slowly drifting lower in the standings since Boozer went down. I am hoping I can hold it down until he gets back in a couple of weeks.

I had Zach posting double-doubles for 8-9 straight games before he went down with an injury 8 games ago. Luckily I have been able to squeeze out a couple of victories while he has been down, (but not the Clippers), but now t-mac is nursing his often injured body so I am going to be running on three quarters of a tank the next week or so. Hopefully th e rest of my guys step up this week before Webz and Hunters get to far away from the rest of the pack...

So far the biggest mistakes I have made this season is not drafting Eric Gordon as my final pick (I think I took Jerriatic Stackhouse). I knew Gordon was good as I saw him in the preseason and thought he would be my sleeper pick. Also I waived Stuckey a couple of games after Shaq slammed him, because he was averaging more turnovers than points or assists.... :(:frusty:

It's not a huge mistake when you are talking about the last pick in the draft. I liked Gordon too pre-season, but at that stage I think we all thought Ricky Davis would be taking all the minutes Gordon is currently getting.

My sleepers are working out pretty well right now. Someone mocked my pick of Jeff Green in the draft but he has taken off and some!
Spencer Hawes was also doing well until his recent injury. I'll keep him in case Miller is traded.
Nene is also quite a surprise, but I'm not expecting him to last all season. I don't even think I could sell high on him either because I wouldn't get fair value back for what he is currently producing. I guess I'll just ride it til it breaks. (knock on wood)

I drafted Sideshow Bob with the view that Big Z or Ben would break down and he'd get their minutes. But I was too impatient and dropped him early on. I don't regret it though. For all his 'hustle' he gets very few blocks.

I picked up Blatche from waivers but dropped him again. Wiz lineup was all over the shop at that time so I decided on safer things. Wouldn't mind having him still, but I'll manage.

After a slightly disappointing auto- draft I immediately picked up Duhon and Chandler off- waivers. All in all, 5 off my players are non- drafted and I'm pretty concent. Still regret the Marion- Bosh trade as well as sending Diaw to the waivers, though. Maybe these 2 would have put me over the hump.

Don't worry guys. This happens a lot and Yahoo is aware of the problem. They will straighten it out and in the past the problem has always been rectified before the next day's games begin.

    Hang in there...
