If this franchise uses this as a reason NOT to hire someone, they should be disbanded.

Dude, it's not the Pistonsforum.com PodShow, between 1 and 2 hours weekly of straight talk from fans, and featuring The Low, legendary Pistons critic, reporter and independent media producer.

This is just the little ol' NBA.

I have heard that Bill Laimbeer is not pollitcally correct for the NBA. Meaning that he is not a YES man and will tell you like it is or where you can go. :eyebrows:

Come playoff time, there is indeed a clamp down and intensity is not for those of timidity. For that you need the "big heart".

Any advancement during the playoffs is directly proportional in having AI carry this team. Now, that's all gone. There is no going back.

If I was his agent, I would be bringing another story...for the rest of the story.

There is still a pretty visible need for a scoring punch off the bench and Hermann is not the answer.

I'm not sure if AI could fill that role (not physically), but if he can and accept less minutes we will be dangerous.

Isn't that crazy that curry thinks fabio/tay is a good combination that can cause smaller guards trouble? Curry is truly insane.

In theory it's a good idea, but in practice Hermann is too slow for it to work. Curry is a strange one.

So far they have won with Herrman in the lineup despite no real productivity in the past two games...But he did well in the first four games of the season too and we were undefeated so I say leave him there.

However, if I were MC, I would split some of his minutes with Afflolo just to keep him sharp, especially since his D is better than Wall-e's

Nope. I'm pointing out that you add more value than the NBA.

    And I mean it.

Well i'm not saying AI is top 40 of all time I was just showing that most people would think AI has a low per, but its one of the highest of all time...

And Neil Johnston is a hall of famer at least lol...plus he played in the 40s and 50s...thats probably why he ranks high too..

Damn straight! I think this also. I am waiting for you to take it seriously. I would like to see a working extension of your ego which all feel that they must contribute in order to bring balance. You must show enough talent to know enough in order to frame an outbalance that challenges.

Remember: explaining is controlling. Extolling is being a comedian.

I'm all for giving guys like Herrmann occasional minutes, but it has to make sense. I would only use him to rest Tay or to add 3-point shooting in desperate times. Play him every game to give Tay a break and extend his minutes if he's on. If not, you gotta pull him after 5-7 for sure.

AA is one of the best defensive sophomores in the NBA with an underrated offensive game. TS% of .527 vs. Rip's .537. He's clearly more our future than Fab. If we don't make AA into our Bowen, then we are missing a big opportunity. Pop is probably waiting to nab him.

I though for sure the * meant he played in the ABA or something. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw it meant he was in the Hall.

Well finally i guess to get rid of Ai after the season..look at the record without AI. I guess Its not how good your players are its all about chemistry and it shows how fluid the offense is without Ai,, well Ai may score 20+ points a night but the question is "can he get hes teamates better, for me the answere is hell NO.. so Joe d drop Ai after the season for me he is just one ball hugging gangster wannabee...BOO you AI

Yeah, and Jack McClosky went after Jon Koncak.

I wouldn't read too much into that.

    Curry on ESPN FIRST TAKE:

_ we got to find a way to get rip and AI to play together better

    - we need 5 or 6 guys to play well every night

    - we need to play better at home

    - we trapped Chauncey and came out with a win

    - Rip is our vocal leader

    - Stuckey needs to lead this team

    - we arent sure how (iverson) can play off the bench

    - he was disappointed with the news

    - i dont know if he 'embraces' the idea of coming off the bench

    - its not an indicator that he's playing 'bad' basketball

    - i have no doubt that he'll give 110% when he comes back

    - ok thank you

(as he got off the phone , i heard him mutter about the interviewer "He good!")
