you can't lump Dale in with Kwame and Nazr...he did exactly what we was supposed to: bring interior defense and rebounding. We needed his toughness and savy but instead went with better jump shooting.

I hate to dwell on one pick, but DeAndre Jordan looks like he would have been a better pick than any of the Big 3 they selected last year. It's not that he's a star, but a useful piece. If he were 6'8 they probably would have snagged him.

Dale Davis was pretty tough. He served a good role for us I thought.

Anyone care to submit an over/under prediction on the amount of times Rip uses the phrase: "Like I always say..." during this interview?

I'm gonna put the line at SIX.

Keep in mind, variations on this phrase (ie. "like we always say.."; "like I always said..."; etc.) DO count.

If this has been posted, feel free to merge it.

I didn't see it and was surprised.

Now if Curry would release the rest of the hounds with him when he comes back we could see what I think we all expected; an intense, scrambling defensive team looking to run the ball back down your throat.

Put AJ, AA, Max and Walter on the floor with him and turn them loose. Let them run the opposition for 15 to 20 minutes a game and let's see what happens. :shout:

I remember that year. They faked injuries; Avery Johnson, Vinny Del Negro and Robinson at the same time injured as hell? In one season? C'mon, it was totally obvious to me and everyone else

Thats good. I think he is going to workout quit well off the bench. As long as Curry manages it right.

What I see is Stucky and AI do not play well together and its just as much if not more Stucky's fault. Is it AI's fault that Stucky becomes so passive and shoots like 1-6 with AI?

2 choices. Start AI/RIP or bring AI off the bench and play him primarily as the PG. This year the team is willing to build for the future and give Stucky some time so that leaves us with the only viable option which is AI off the bench. But not as SG - as the backup PG with some SG. - Knowing Curry he will probably find a way to muck it up.

Think of the momentum we will have if we can put together a long win streak without him and then step it up a notch further when he joins us.

Could be playing our best basketball of the season when it matters.

    That's what I am/was hoping for.

This is the last season with Sheed/Rip/Tay/Dice, I don't want to see it go out with a whimper.

I turned it on toward the end and heard one 'like I said' and one 'like I told you'.

    Anyone got the official count?

Slippy already tried that on me earlier today. Strong the force is in you Max, but a Sith, you are not yet. Training is incomplete, yours is.
