Fear the fro II? The AI story.....yep he could have showed up at a game like Big Ben used to looking scary and intimidating...

Not to beatup the point about black male hair issues, let me throw in mine:
I had the cornrow look back in college in the 70's and wore it for about a month. Neither of my two sons have ever had the cornrows or braids as it not anything that either would aspire to wear since they in their opinion it is "not hip" to have their hair in that style..

One keeps his very short and the other likes to keep his as a nappy mini fro that my wife and I have to continually stay on top of him to trim. Getting him to a barber is a struggle and I often think about cutting it when he asleep...I cut both boys hair every three weeks from the time they were little boys until the time the were in jr high

I have been cutting my own hair since the early 80's, but I have not done the full bald look yet....but based on the disappearing spot at the top, I will probably go that route in the next two years.

I'm glad that he cut his hair. I believe no man should go over the age of 30 with braids.

I concur with that PL.., but some have to express their identity....how do you feel about older men with dredlocks or even pony tails or even a mohawk?

I ABSOLUTELY HATE dreadlocks. I don't like them on kids, teens, young adults, or middle age people. I just think they are ugly. So I think anyone with dreads should cut them off.

To me dreds are different than braiding your hair. People dred their hair for a multitude of reasons, i.e. cultural, political, religious, etc. Dreds are not a hairstyle per say but a lifestyle. The people I know dred their hair for different reasons. When I braid my hair I braid it because I do not feel like styling it everyday. Thats the lazy reason.

You've got the wrong country...try Afghanistan.

Let me give you a huge clue, since I've been in plenty of bunkers.

In Afghanistan, you will never run out of them and that's below.

Above are the caves, and even infra-red has a hard time of it.

Not bad for a country that maintained its neutrality during the Second World War and avoided war with its' neighbors.

Crosswinds could be a problem, but he'll fit in better with the paper thin parts of the team.

Getting rid of the cornrows means more money in his pocket as barbershop bills will be cheaper and he won't have to spend that much on Head and Shoulders dandruf shampoo.
