    Good find JZ.

I don't have a problem with this. It's not even a holiday in my country today and I don't feel like working either. lol

    I do.

I think Curry is a butt head for holding practice on a major holiday.

I think A.I. is a butt head for sending a "screw you coach and team" message. (Assuming he didn't have a good reason for missing it). Bad precedent. Very very bad.

I think Jammer is a butt head...just because.

You see, I'm looking at this differently. Glass half full.

If AI is missing practice, then it means he is comfortable in Detroit.

This may be a stretch, but follow me. The NYC Department of Education issued a memo saying that no one could take the day off for Election Day without prior approval. Election Day was a staff development day and students were not at school. This has never happened in my 22 years at the DOE. The DOE was trying to prevent people from working for a candidate and getting paid for it through a sick day or personal day. At my school, 25 people were absent (including myself) because it was very important to us and worth the risk to assist in getting the vote out. We all got memos in our file and a personal day deducted from our bank. Which was fine by me. That is what should have happened anyway. The memo is just a waste of paper.

Now AI knows there is practice. He might have a legimate reason for not attending, but maybe he choose to risk the fine and other punishment that goes along with not being at practice. The big difference is that we did no harm not attending work that day because students were not in session, AI on the other hand risks alienating his coach and some teammates by thinking he is above it all. Hopefully he had a legit reason, if he did not
the press will have a field day.

I do not know what was accomplished by practicing for an hour on Thanksgiving.

Here we go. I don't know what to say. This kind of makes AI's sound bite that he will do whatever is asked of him to win sound like a load of bull. If everyone else can show up why not him?

Then again, was this practice by Curry known well in advance? Or did he just come up with this yesterday? I am not making excuses for AI, but if his family has not relocated to Detroit he most likely went to be with them. If this is the case I think it was very stupid on Curry's part to hold practice without giving atleast 2 to 3 day notice to the players.

I wonder when did the players find that they had to practice today. This is a big deal believe me. It shouldn't be but it is. Hopefully he has a good excuse.

I don't think they needed to have a practice today, but the fact that AI was the ONLY player not to show doesn't sit will with me.

We're not talking about a game. We're talking about practice.

    I sincerely hope that AI:
    1. gets fined
    2. will be degraded to bench

AI has to learn that Pistons lockerroom is no place for primadonnas.

Sounds to me like we are talking about disrespect to the coach, his teammates, and the entire organization.

Pretty much. People can gloss this over, but if this was Rasheed . . .

I feel that if this was rasheed, it would have been less of a fuss. Because it is AI and practice it is a major news story.....TNT is on it...

Less of a fuss nationally, but IMO fans would have a field day with it.

What i find sorta hysterical is that the whole point of this practice was b/c we were in "training camp" mode trying to integrate Iverson . . .

I dont like the fact that he is the only one not to attend, and Im sure his teammates are pissed since the practice was supposed to be to help integrate HIM. I wont bash him for it until we find out what ( if any) his excuse is.
