Dont know too much about him, but earlier in the season most mock drafts had him in the top 10 and now I've seen 2 (hoopshype, draftexpress) which have him falling to the pistons at 15.
I suggested about a month ago that the Pistons might want to draft him and that suggestion got dissed all over the board. Check it out under Orlando's pick It helps to be the moderator or forum leader. LOL
Can we move this thread over to the NBA section or should I create another link? The guy is having one heck of a pre-season. He lit it up again last night 24 points including 4 of 5 from downtown. If the Clippers had drafted Hot Rod at #14 rather than Thorton I think Joe D. would have taken Thornton. In any case I get to enjoy him out here in L.A. In 6 pre-season games MPG ----29.2 PPG ----18.7 FG % ---49 3PFG% --69 (say what?) FT% ----87 RPG ---5.7 With Brand out for probably at least the first 3 months of the season Thornton will get all the minutes he can handle, especially if he continues to shoot like this.
