Please post ALL PISTONS and other NBA transactions for the opening of free agency HERE. Do not start a new thread for every transaction. This is for transactions, and transaction critiques/discussions only. If you post a rumour, it must have a source, and it should be better than "someone on a blog or forum said...". Include source links wherever possible. Everything gets very interesting at midnight tonight.
Re: Okur stays with Jazz. Is Millsap a possibility now? OKC is said top be offering Milsap 11 mil a year . . .
Re: Okur stays with Jazz. Is Millsap a possibility now? Boozer in, Memo in, that means Millsap is going to be out, unless Utah can can move Boozer, if we wanted him, I bet we can now get him as a salary dump IF Utah really wants to keep Millsap. I bet a Maxiel for Boozer deal could easily go through RIGHT NOW!!!!
This as on the RealGM UTAH board. They' are pretty on top of things. I'm not sure where it's from. And then this vague article . . . Deseret News | Utah Jazz: Korver stays; what about others?
I wonder if Joe is ready to offer that kind of money to Lee and Millsap? It could be reasonable if you take into consideration annual raises.
Thanks, let's keep this thread high quality. Substantiate everything, report as it happens. One stop record of FA and how it went down in 2009.
I pray to God he's NOT!!!!! They are marginal players, you won't win titles with those guys eating up a chunk of your cap.

Memo opting IN really changes things. Utah is already over the LuxCap. To keep Millsap their payroll would balloon to around $80M, and I really don't think they want Boozer anymore, I think he's bolting next season no matter what because half the league will have cap room. I honestly think Utah would be happy to just dump his salary so they can match any offers for Millsap. I think we can nab Boozer for nothing and if he's a 1 year rental...so what.....we have $$$$$$ for next season. I think Millsap is what gets the dominos falling folks...............stay tuned.
Nope, because we have so much cap room we can absorb his whole $12M+ and still be under the cap by about $6M.
Paul Millsap for that kind of money (5/65) even more in this economy is outrageous. I thought OKC front office was a little smarter then that. It seems David Lee/Charlie V/Trading are the options. As for Ben Gordon. He says the Pistons are going to offer him 10 mil an year?? What??? Let's stick with the cancer Rip. Who's not really a cancerous player, and just wanted to start.
This is a transactions thread, not a general rant thread about rumours and speculation. If you're commenting, make sure it's on facts.
