Joe could have done so much more to ruin not just his career but his legacy. Joe as far as I can tell hasn't said one bad word about the situation that AI has to take as much blame as Currey Rip and the rest of the team for last year.

Actually there's a few more. AI was traded for Andre Miller, and with Miller Philly got better. Then AI was traded for Chauncey and with CHuancey Denver got alot better. Then of course there was The Griever. So who ruined AI's career?
    • The Griever
    • Chauncey
    • Dre Miller
    • Joe or,
    • Curry?

I was thinking of Arnie Kander.

For many years straight, Kander has been able to keep our men on the court heading into the playoffs. But last year was a major exception. Kander completely blew it and AI was hung out to dry.

I guess I could have created a new thread for this question and had a poll too and it would not have died with the blame going to Roscoe.....maybe we wait to beginning of the season and if he is still unsigned we wait to see the media fallout and then do our poll....

Is any NBA team still looking for the Answer? - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

It seems he only has HIMSELF to blame.

That is a low blow. I can't believe you would go there.

Well I'm not going to lie. He hurt himself strongly by not accepting the bench role.

    Himself?

    How about:
Curry for abandoning the highly successful small ball experiment
Joe D for doing acid and trading for him
Billups for growing up in Denver and therefore getting traded back there
    Rip for outplaying him
Arnie Kander for failing to properly treat AI's near fatal back injury
Stuckey for insinsting on handling the ball on occasion
The fans for wanting the team to win
The official scorekeepers for failing to register about 25% of his made baskets.

The list goes on and on. Please reconsider your stance.

I don't care if you don't like the coach's experiment. You're paid to do your job and when you say that you're going to follow your coach's assignments...you better do them.

If the boss thought you were the guy to help this team and put them over the "bump" and went out and traded for you. Do whatever you did to get wanted and traded for.

Joe wanted Melo first. Their GM simply just kept offering AI.

Rip wanted to show that he deserved the starting job. That he didn't it shouldn't have come down to a vote, that the best man deserved the starting nod.

Considering that AI went to Georgetown doctors for his back..I don't see how you can blame this on Arnie.

Stuckey was never selfish throughout the season.

Considering the Pistons have just went to the ECF, expectations were high for fans. You don't go to the ECF one year and next year with the same core expect to get swept next season.

I guess I'll just be stubborn.

Both had a hand in it. Although Curry was way-over-his-head. JD created this whole mess with expecting AI to come off the bench which hurt both professionals. He also knew that this club had too much power over coaching directions and were beyond a listening to know one.

In the end it was JD who paid AI not to play. A sure sign of an implosion that settled over this organization. Was there a lesson learned? Present placement between Rip and Gordon is a slight pause before Rip is traded.
My best bet (providing health and financial arrangements): Rip for TMac.

    LK,

What about John Mason for never fully embracing him or giving him a distinctive intro?

Also, the casinos did not make him feel very welcome.

Joe didn't need much convincing to use that contract for younger pieces.

Exactly. That move freed up what about 17mil in cap space. I am fairly convinced that Cap Space was the #1 motivator and AI the player was #2.

With that said the fair thing to do on Dumars part would have been to cut AI once it became obvious that it was not working.

Two years in barcelona in order to win euroleague, barcelona has loosed Andersen for houston rockets and ersan ilyasova to bucks, two starters but we have a great team adding rubio, pete mickeal and morris. I hope we win final four next year...
Rubio in barcelona wil play al highest level out nba, playing starter with obligation to win titles. It will be good for him,to improve his level, next level is Dumards dealing rubio in 2011...

Today spanish national team has finished unbeaten his tour,Marc Gasol better player, today 18 points, other games 26 points against lietuva.
Pau is injured but Marc gasol has all future with him,is a good target when he ends contract in menphis, lakers has no cap to sign him,he wants go to a winner team like detroit,boston...who has cap to sign him.
