I don't see this as a knock on Amir...I just think that anytime you can get a Roko Ukic type of player you have to make the deal.

Joe Dumards is going to lose his job if he keeps dropping the ball on stuff like this. How come HE couldn't pull off a deal of this magnitude?

A lot of times, it just doesn't make sense to trade one player on your team for another. But I'm not even sure Dumars explored it.

The only current deal that could make sense would be to trade Ben Gordon for Tay + Maxiell and a future 2nd round draft pick. Maybe sign some scrub and throw him in as filler to get the deal done.

Toronto will be a better fit for Amir because they play more uptempo, although you have to think that Amir couldn't have impressed Skiles and the MIL front office if they are turning him around so fast.

Ukic isn't that bad. He's sorta a rich man's Pepe Sanchez.

As I understand it, Milwaukee was suprised to get Warrick after Mem pulled their qualifying offer. Once they had Warrick, they felt like their need for a guy like Amir decreased.

Two more trades after this one for Amir and he will reach Quentin Richardson status:MusicBigGrin:

Who knows he may be traded for Quentin before the summer is over. :)

I'm beginning to think that Joe and Hammond shared a brain that now is not working properly b/c they are apart.

Amir-aside, i don't understand what either team is doing.

I think this could save basketball in Canada.

Amir is a boy toy, so if all of his super hot lady fans follow him in Toronto, it will create a ripple effect in the standings and at the box office. :D

I think the unintentional comedy potential is pretty high for this as well. I wonder if he even knows that Toronto is in a different country.

Granted, he would probably rather live in Toronto than Milwaukee.
