You know, what's funny is that Amir ended up averaging more points than Delfino and Maxiell, more boards than those two and Nazir, and #1 on the team in blocked shots and shooting percentage.

We should've brought him back a few weeks ago IMO.

Looking at the year he's had, it was probably the best to send him down right away and then bring him back with 20-25 games to play so that he can show what he's learned and get some real experience. Flip is still not inclined to play young guys for longer periods of time, especially when they are going good. He's always bringing in starters to close out the 2nd quarter, and really sporadic bringing in subs in the 2nd halves of the games. Why is that? I don't know, I guess that's why he's a coach and I'm just sitting here guessing.

Anyway, could've, should've, would've... They all don't help us now. I just hope they give Amir enough playing time and hope that he is the player everyone is thinking he should become.

He played a lot, learned a lot, showed character in a situation many would have bailed from and played with new assurance upon returning.

That's not a result sane people should second-guess.

The fact that he made the 12 man roster was a foregone conclusion. They only had 15 players under contract, so clearly he had to be one of them.

The question is will he make the active 12 man roster for any of the games?

I wonder if the Pistons can call up any of the Sioux Falls Skyleaders if anyone on the Automotion gets injured or is not performing...

Notice the two sitting blondes with a piece of jewelry in or near their navals. I don't know what it is about women who where jewelry in pierced parts of their body that makes we wish I was 1/2 may age, especially when they look as good as they do. It's awfully depressing when you get to age where you can do more in your dreams than you can in real life. LOL

Yeah, if I saw one of those blondes committing a crime, I'm not sure I could identify her in a line-up.

he hasn't been handled the same way darko was. apples and oranges. amir is a different person in a totally different situation.

Well, he has played less than Darko did even though he has played far better. Darko's No. 2 pick ego couldn't handle the fact that he wasn't as good as the 3 all-stars in front of him. With Amir, he should probably be pushing Max/Dice for minutes, but he's patient.

I gotta say that I'll breath a huge sigh of relief the day he's signed to a new contract.

You can't compare a humble low draft pick who wants to work hard on his game...would even volunteer to play at the NBDL level just because he loves to play and wants to get better with Darko...A top of the draft pick who sulked if he didn't get enough playing time and loafed through garbage time.
