NBA Development League: Amir Johnson Develops In Sioux Falls
Jason Maxiell rules the world 02:12 From: ManureGinobilli <-- Views: 1233 LOL -------------------- Did I see Amir get stuffed then pick the ball back up and score? The guy is cool under pressure. Looks like from his first picture here, to now, his head has gotten bigger, starting to look mature.
It works in IE7 too. Thanks for the link scoe. Great stuff. There's nothing about the kid to suggest he ain't the real thing.
Amir putting up another beastly game with 4:00 left in the 3rd: 19 points, 15 boards, 6 assists, 6 blocks, 3 steals, 1 TO He should be playing for us.... now.
Finished up with: 21 points (9-of-13 FG), 17 rebounds, 8 assists, 7 blocks, 4 steals Wow! Approaching quadruple double territory! Blalock was good as well with 13 points and 11 assists in another win for the force.
The final score was Skyforce 145, Colorado 14ers 122. Each team had a player score 43. Here's the boxscore.
Those are some nice stats... daaamn...17 reb 7 blks... even Blalock got in on the action ...11 assist and a good shooting night.. If Amir doesn't get some PT to show what he's got then I'm on board with a boycott.
It's hard to boycott when you are the eastern champs though. At least we are still finding a way to win. Neat thing is I like our chances alot better than last year. I think our boys are going to be ready this time. Of course, those Mavericks are going to be tough to overcome in the finals. They remind me of our 89 Pistons when we had such a heartbreaking loss to the Lakers in 88. These Mavs are pretty determined. We will have to play unbelievable to win.
Now that's the kind of game Blalock should be having down there. Amir's stats were beyond good. That is like a high schooler playing against 6th graders. And how about Von Wafer's 43 points?! What a name.
Amir now close to a double-double average: 19.3 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.16 steals, 3.26 blocks. Shooting 61% from the field, 76% from the line.
Ok, I am willing to bet that this offseason teams are going to be blowing up Joe D`s phone about Amir. The thing is, will Joe D bite?
From the Amir Q & A interview with Matthew Brennan: Sounds like Amir should fit right in with Flip's coaching system.
I think that has more to do with the fact that D-Leaue rosters are fluid, and many of these guys come in for a short spell with the team, without the benefit of training camp. Besides, the Sioux Falls coach seems to know what he is doing. ;)

NBA Development League: SCHEDULE Looks like he's priming up for his return. His board numbers are particularly impressive...just what the Pistons need
