Sheed blows a fuse and gets 2 techs and is ejected. Has to be physically restrained by Boston's assistant coach and security. The picture is priceless.
Celts' win streak ends, lose to Sixers%98-97 - CelticsBlog

It is so funny how the Boston fans are defending him and are on his side.
    How long will this last?

There were some revenge calls by the refs I would say. Human nature.

SOS..He can blow a kegger in the plays offs if the refs give Kobe a BS call and hand the title back to the Lakers...while he is watching the game from a hotel due to a suspension.:sssh:

I think he has blown several fuses already. He has 10 techs. That is really an alarming rate.

Sheed had 41 techs in 2001/02 and was ejected 7 times. If he wasn't a volatile loud-mouth he probably wouldn't have been traded here to be the final piece of the championship puzzle. Ya gotta take the bad with the good.

I'll always like the guy even though he pretty much checked out last year. The T's are funny again.

i think the calls were totally against Celtics in that game... i would say review all games that Sheed was ejected, then check if those games were part of ref gambling scandle... i can assure you some of those pistons games were manipulated... Sheed is emotional but not all is his fault

I recall a lot of times when the refs wanted to let it go but he would not stop yelling.

He is one of those guys who I will miss when he is gone.

sure they would let go... but they always made the wrong call in the wrong time... always making sure the game is lost...my statement still holds... most of pistons games in playoff were manipulated against pistons

Most players have the sense of when they can get away with arguing a call and when they can't. Thats all I can say about it.

Sometimes the refs pick on Sheed. Like giving him a tech for laughing or giving him a tech when he is on the bench. The only problem I had with Sheed's techs are when they were happeing in the 4th quarter of games and those techs seemed to swing momentum to the other team and we ended up losing the game.

Ref bias exists. But every single team has fans that think the refs are biased against their team. So forgive me if I don't take statements like this too seriously.

For the ONE championship, Sheed got us to...he cost us THREE others with his mouth and stupidity (crack is whack, but weed is sheed!!)

-2005..The Robert Horry 3 pt FG

-2006....disappeared vs Miami when he was defended by ONLY Udonis haslem! geez!

    -2007.....The Cleveland meltdown!!!

BUT thats how the Devil is. Sheed was fool's gold and we all got suckered in. Watch the Devil's Advocate again very slowly. U will see Sheed's face on the mural behind Al Pacino.

i agree that fans are biased to there teams as well. But there are very good examples of 2006 finals where Pistons were clearly not being treated fairly. blame it to Stern or the refs? but definitely not sheed alone.

If Boston fails this year ..with everyone healthy, the media will probably blame Sheed just like they are already preparing to blame Shaq for the anticipated Cavs collapse in the second or third round.
