What kind of year will Drummond have this year? (Open mouth, insert foot.) I think he's going to be Y-U-G-E.

If he can stay healthy and get 33-34 mpg then I think he'll make 3rd Team All-NBA. (They do have a 3rd team, right?) He almost has to finish in the L's top 5 in blocks and rebounds if plays doesn't he?

He is a freaking animal who is not the slightest bit intimidated by any of the other freaks of nature that the NBA houses. He knows he belongs. (I already feel dumb for limiting him to 3rd team All-L.)

Please make your vote count. Do it for the troops overseas who are fighting for our rights and may not have the cellphone and cable availability to watch the games so they have to rely on us to be their eyes and ears.

Don't let their bloodshed be in vain.

    Vote now!

I think he makes 2nd all nba team this year. He's a great rebounder but J Smoove and Monroe are gonna take away some boards from him so I don't think he'll be Top 3 in rebounds. Also, I think he'll have a much better FT % this year specially because of Rasheed Wallace.

When I watch him shoot free throws, his mechanics aren't all that bad. He needs to work on his release though and call me crazy but I think he'll shoot better with one hand than two. His guide hand seems to be getting in the way when he shoots.

Drummond will have a sophomore slump this season.
He'll be better in some aspects, but will puzzle us with other aspects of his game.

He can do all those good things, but even so WILL be one of the worse FT shooters.

Statiscally he'll be as good as Joakim Noah. The only issue with Drummond is that he's not one of those guys who gets all hyped up and animated like Noah; nobody on this team is. Chanucey and Smith are nicknamed- Smooth, Drummond and Monroe are cool and laid back, Knight isn't vocal.......where does this teams energy and passion come from?

Good question. We lost a couple of our wild, high-energy guys in Tay and Daye.

Good point. Maybe we could get Carmelo Anthony to create a little excitement!

What sign has there been that Drummond is going to have a sophomore slump?

It is this sort of pre-packaged inside the box thinking that kept him glued to the bench last year.

This kid is a stud. He dominated the SL and was a man amongst boys. I do not think we'd be saying the same thing if Monroe played this year.

To be fair, so did Austin Daye last year.

Drummond has a lot to prove. He's done well in the time he's played, but when he moved into the starting lineup at the end of the year he went from 13/13 per 36 to 15/11. Those aren't really all-star numbers.

Now, of course there's room to grow. He's definitely a game-changer on defense. But with Smith and Monroe in the lineup with him a lot of the time, he won't be padding his rebounding stats.

Daye wasn't in Drummond's class with regards to summer league. Daye did well but Drummond was a another level above that. He was faster, stronger and bigger than his peers and he dunked all the time. It was ridiculous. Players in the NBA will close that gap but he's still in small company in term of what he can do physically.

I am kind of thinking he will spend a fair amount of time with the 2nd unit. Why else re-sign Bynum. The synergy between him Bynum and Datome is pretty good.

Bynum was valuable before Drummond too. He's a great weapon and he's entertaining (which shouldn't be underestimated).
