Tyrus Thomas stole Jason Maxiell's lunch money on Saturday night.
I have a hard time believing that Andre Drummond can't be as physical as JMax. Andre does need to learn how to be physical without fouling.

Rax, have you watched any preseason games yet? Just curious.

No. but preseason and real season are like daye and knight. (potential) starters do not take preseason very seriously anyway.

There isn't a player on the team that deserves to start over Drummond. I would not start him initially though because I think they'll have to handle his foul trouble more cuatiously if he starts.

As far as I am concerned, there is not a single reason why Monroe should play a single minute at centre this season. Given Slave 15-20 and Drummond as many as he can take before fouling out.

Max + Slav can be second unit PF/C. JJ Starting 3, Singler + Rook taking up 14 each.
    Brandon 35, Stuckey 30 (English)

Maglight and TP in street clothes. CV in Amnesty city. Keep Terrence and Flynn, there is probably a reason they were drafted that high.

I like your idea here. I agree that they were drafted so high for a reason. Now let's use their talent and get down to business.

Simply absurd. Those two have 10000x the talent of BoT, yet for some reason we keep seeing him on the roster.

This is a joke. They both would have probably accepted minimum or close to, at 1 year, what is the risk if you get rid of the bucket?

You are simply paying $16 million for someone not on your roster.

    Wish this was the case.

The comment from the Magic game that it was the first Drum/Monroe pairing, even including training scares me. I am just hoping it is Frank playing his cards close to his chest because EVERYBODY knows that is the combo Drum was drafted for.

I am curious myself on how much Drummond will play. I know they do not want to overwhelm him and are trying not to get too excited about the pre-season. But I do think Frank is very serious about playing him as player and hence team development is still more important at this point. Probably not going to be too long before he is playing regular minutes.

Should have kept TWill. Get rid of prince. We need to unblock the SF spot, not just to play our young guys, but also for the minutes in the rotation that TP swallows up

It was not their first pairing. They have both been on the floor, but briefly, only as the units were being changed up. I do believe though that 2 minutes is the most they have been paired up at one time.
