Let's just hope that the new coach won't have an agenda against winning.
That is an absolute joke that Drummond only made the 2nd team.
I wonder how many times Frank voted for Singler.
Let's not forget Stuckey. He is one of very few players to make that top 10 rookie list for 3 consecutive seasons.
The trade list doesn't count.
let's forget Stuckey..........
I am upset with the management.... I want to like this 3-4 HUNDRED times...
I think 4th is extremely generous given that he was not even starting. Not that he could not have been even #1. When we all saw how much farther along he was than expected he should have been promoted to a starter a lot sooner. But Frank had a plan devised in the pre-seaoson and was not straying from it for anything. Instead we got friggen Maxiel starting over him.
Not sure how true this is, or just a "dream" ...but why didn't we bring in someone to work with Moose and teach him how to dougie dunk when he is under the hoop instead of those wild shots. Obviously he didn't learn from Max, but Lanier was a lefty and I don't remember anyone mentioning that the dobber was brought in to give Monroe any tips.
Andre Drummond plans to work with Hakeem Olajuwon
I could actually watch this all day - I hate Chris Brown
kiley mcdermott's post on Vine
It's honestly been years since I posted on Pistonsforum.com. Just thought I'd pop in for some draft coverage and saw this AD thread. Now how can a fan of big men like myself not contribute to an AD thread? I admit, I was a big time Darko apologist, and those days are over. (thankfully) but NOW we have something great that we can all cheer for: The Developement of the True Future Big of the Detroit Franchise. Even the most opinionated Pistons fans will have a hard time disagreeing that AD is the FUTURE. He's got the size, athleticism (boy have we missed that since Ben left) and hustle to be that game changer that I wanted Darko to be. Now I can say I have optimism that the Pistons will start their slow ascension from the bottom as they begin to slow rise from the ashes. With AD on board and a good frontcourt mate in Greg Monroe (still wish he had some athleticism to wear he could dunk w/o a running start), I see good things starting for this franchise. I want to see the Pistons excel and with both AD and Moose onboard the future can only go UP from here.
Glad you stopped in, Jack. Hope to see you around more!
Seriously, been working like a fool 80+ hours a week, busy home life (just had baby #6 on Valentine's Day) and this is my week of Vac in Daytona Beach. Got sunburned first day out. Taking a few to stay outta of the sun for the hottest part of the day and visit some forums for the latest on the Pistons Draft. I really want to see a usable player this year, no more Alex Ackers that play for us in the summer league for 3 years but never contribute to the active roster. Or Austin Dayes that are "buffing up" every summer but never become usable when we need them. I'm sick of them trying to sell "fluff", I want substance. That's why last season I enjoyed watching Drummond so much. He's really a guy to get excited about. I was bummed when he got hurt and wasn't out there. I took some time off from watching Stuckey bullrush the lane when there wasn't anyone on the roster that I enjoyed watching. (I like Moose, but he's pretty boring to watch in that he turns it over ALOT) I want an exciting rookie this year. I don't mind some losing if we are developing and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Don't know for sure who we'll get but the "un-sexy" picks for me are Bennett and Burke and probably Zeller (although I hear his athleticism is awesome) and he may not be too bad. If we get Zeller, is Jerebko gone? Was he ever gonna be a player for us? Is that just a bad experiment gone awry? I think the Pistons have so many holes. I'm hoping for a good PG/SG/SF any one of those positions and I'm excited. But no more "blah" players.
We are reaping the benefits from the Acker pick in this draft with our 56th pick.
Wow, so all those years of summer league with AA is reaping us the 56th. Whew, I take it all back. Now that's a solid return on our investment.
Joe has the advantage of time on his side. He can make subtle moves like this with long term payoffs while other GM's are trying to create instant winners.
No idea who this guy is but he seems to think Monroe will be joining AD.

So here’s what I was told is the Hakeem Olajuwon workout schedule in Houston this summer
Drummond is working on throwing lobs to BK7.

Andre Drummond gets dunked on by a white girl:

It's official. Andre did a nice gesture that Stuckey never bothered to do.
Andre Drummond is awesome: Changes number to zero, Chauncey Billups No. 1 once again - Detroit Bad Boys
