Anyone think Dumars is not done dealing yet?

I have a feeling that we will see something else go down, especially if Dyess does not come back. Something for another big. We are too thin up front right now and Dumars likes a big frontcourt.

I think its safe to say that its not going to be Prince since Curry is using him for everything except taking out the garbage. It may involve something with Rip and Amir or Maxiel for a quality big. It would leave us thin in the backcourt but its better to be thin there than up front. Then Afflalo can start, not sure how that would go.

If Rip got traded we'd start Stuckey and AI, with Bynum and Afflalo as their backups. I can handle that.

I think he's done. Only minor moves from here if any.

I'd do Rip for Boozer or Dalembert or something, but I think he'll be around at the end of the season. The flashes he's shown a few times getting passes from AI have been great. I'm glad we did this one so early into the season since it's leading to such a fundamental change of pace.

Then again it all depends on who is available at the deadline. If Dallas and San Antonio clearly aren't making the playoffs, they may want to deal. Atlanta may be looking for something to make them a contender. New Orleans will be looking for someone to put them over the top. Should be interesting! Always is!

That's a horrible trade. I'd rather have Kwame Brown than Charlie V.

If Rip continues to be in this state of mind, Joe will definitely make phone calls.

Joe's picking up Marbury once he clears waivers.

Then he's trading Rip and Amir to the Nets for Vince Carter.

Then (they have been hinting at this already) the team is moving Tayshaun over to the 4 ala Shawn Marion. It seems early in the season that Prince's rebound production, much like Marion's, rises when playing the 4 in an up tempo environment.

The trio of Stephon, Allen, and Vince wrecked havoc in the 2001 all-star game. Joe and Mike are still impressed.

The team either implodes on a cataclysmic scale, or Mike Curry proves his mettle by avoiding a pundit predicted fiasco and leading the best starting 5 on paper to an NBA Championship.

    Marbury
    Iverson
    Carter
    Prince
    Wallace

May want to look at the Wizards. Mark my word, JaVale McGhee is the sho nuff truth. With the Wizards looking hapless right now, he may be easily thrown into a Rip trade.

I don't know who else we would throw in. I like the Vince Carter trade also. Two NC Alums, not too skimpy, plus I believe he is also hungry to win a Ship. How old is Vince anyway?

A right on post. Could be a block trade or perhaps 3-4 slot spread. I am looking for a particular marker as we move toward the All-Start break: this is moving or trying patterns with Tay at the 3-4 slot, especially the latter.

I don't know if Tay at the 4 is good plan long term. It may have took the lakers by surprise but over a 7 game series they would have eventually shreaded us.

We are very thin up front right now. Thats all I am saying. Especially with Amir not playing.
