Sounds good to me. Nash + AI + Shaq + Maxiell would be interesting.

Against Uta earlier this year, Amar'e had a really strange game.

    22 points, 20 rebounds (11 offensive), 5 turnovers, 5 personal fouls.

At one point, he put together a string of 11 straight games over 20 points, almost all of them against good teams (SAS, DEN, POR, ORL, LAL, DAL, NOH, MIL, UTA).

Against Boston, he played 30 minutes and had 3 points, 1 rebound. 0-7 from the floor. 4 turnovers. 4 fouls. Got 1 block and got blocked once himself. On the other end, KG was 7-10.

His stats are virtually indentical in wins and losses. The only major difference is his efficiency. FG% of .581 vs. .487. That's to be expected though, since better teams play better defense.

45 turnovers in January for him in 15 games. 3 per game is very "playground". Sheed has 1 turnover per game.

Amare's higher scoring and better average would probably make us better offensively, but the turnovers would be an offset to that.

    I still don't know.

That is another option. Freeing up even more cap space after this year.

Phoenix would probably find it attractive for their style.

Rip & AJ for Amare would be a better deal for Phoenix than for us.

Rip would love it too. Imagine the space a Shaq screen would create for him. He can probably park a schoolbus in there after hitting his jumper.

That trade I'd try. Putting A'm'a'r'e beside Sheed has more potential than replacing Sheed with him.

Sounded like Shaq wanted the offense run through him more. Amar'e high touch need was causing some tension. And vice versa.

There are rumors that the Wiz are open to moving Caron Butler. Is this season too far down the tubes to consider moving AI, Rip, Tay plus whatever for him?

Rip will get you Butler and pocket change by himself. Butler is cheap. Start him at the two and then let him back up Tay with AA getting lots of burn.

Money wise yeah, but I don't know that they want his contract.

Yeah, Butler is signed for two, Rip for four.

The Wiz can't risk getting ripped off twice on the same player, can they?

What if it was AI returning home for Butler + someone? Tay goes to the bench, Rip back starting.

Sheed on the Spurs would probably make me have to stop watching basketball for the rest of the season.
