Thank god to the 2nd one, bla to the first. The latest rumor is Amare to the Rockets, and also a supposed rejected deal of Amare for Marion/Beasley.
Is this guy a steal for someone. Tay for Caron and Detroit's #1. This should take pressure of JD to get some quality type player now and do some serious trading in the off-season.

Sheed would never sign with the spurs and joe will not trade him to the spurs.....it just can't happen
Tyson Chandler is very available and it looks like NOH just want to cut salary and might be having ticket selling problems The current trade rumor is Marion for Chandler.
BDiddy, Amare and Always Hurt for a HOF, a Champion and my favorite scrub. Uhm.... no. Kaman is incredibly overrated. BDiddy is no improvement on Iverson and Amare, well I have never been very thrilled with Amare. I think like Marion, he's a product of the system.
What does that mean? Aren't all players a product of their systems or fit best in a particular system i.e. AI needs so many touches to be a high scorer, Nash is a fast break/up-down the court PG, etc. I am not sure I like the Amare-Sheed trade rumors. I'd like to see Sheed leave as a Piston, and Amare is not exactly a low post presence that adds a needed dimension to the Pistons. At this point I think Joe sees the writing on the wall i.e. this team's best days are behind them, time to move on. Unless he gets a premier FA, the only way to re-build is through the draft. Got to get a big man.
From the Hornets perspective, it's strictly a money move. Rumor has is they are going or already broke. In general i think it's his contract with most teams that's appealing.
Suns want expiring contracts and young prospects in return. We have the expiring contract part. Maybe last year we could have sold Amir but he has lost a lot of stock. Suns are not getting full value for him but I think we would have to come a little stronger than that. Maybe get a 3rd team involved and throw Rip in there somewhere. If they can do a deal the good thing is that Stoudemire's contract expires in 010 I believe? So it would be a good 1.25 year trial where there would be no long-term obligation if his defense does not improve.
What I mean is, if Amare is not the focal point of your offense, you're going to see a huge drop in his #s, similar to AI. So what you see, will not be what you get. I'm much higher on Bosh, but he's out injured again. So many of these names being thrown around are either guys who put up big#s on bad teams and/or guys who can't stay healthy. Like Kaman, who is neither a winner a workhorse or reliable.
