I don't blame him, he's one of the few players on this team that actually plays hard every game...

I don't begrudge the dude 1 bit if he bails, I almost recommend it... Hard working soldier like that doesn't deserve to go out with a pathetic season like this.

Agree wholeheartedly. I hope he ends up in San Antonio. I'd hate to see him go to Boston.

Did I say I hated the Celtics yet today? Well, here it is: I hate the Celtics.

I would leave too. He deserves a ring. I don't care how he gets it but I know one thing if he stays here, he will not recieve his ring. He should've signed with Cleveland after he got traded from here. Dice is being underachieved and under appreciated. He deserves a squad that will do him right.

He knows he does not have many years left to win a ring, so I fully understand his decision, I wish him the best in accomplishing what he wants and deserves. Just stay away from Boston and the Lakers.

Send him to a team with a good coach who appreciates him. (Lakers)

I totally agree. Dyess deserves to be on a team that can provide him with a better shot at a championship like maybe Atlanta.

I am sure he is going to be looking at what Joe Does for the summer. Is he going to let AI/Sheed go?? Is he going to have to be a starter?? What teams have a better chance to get a ring?? I think the biggest issue will be who Joe acquires this summer.

Unless he signs with Cleveland, Boston, Lakers or San Antonio he doesn't have a chance. If he goes to Cleveland, it would be somewhat nice to see him and Big Ben (help) win a title together. If he goes to San Antonio, it would be very satisfying to see him help SAS spank Lakers in the western finals.

If he goes to Boston or LA, I'll just slip into denial mode and pretend the whole thing never happened.

I want him to leave for selfish and unselfish reasons.

Dice deserves better than the Pistons. I hope he gets his ring. He made the ultimate sacrifice this season, and the Pistons repay him like this?

Just noticing (not expressing any opinion one way or the other)...

The last time I read posts of this mood/expression...we were wearing teal and no one wanted to play in Detroit.

So, the actual teal uniforms may not have been the cause?

    Oh c'mon Low.

We don't need another Grant Hill incident, but I would take another young Grant Hill (before ankle problems). :)

They've got to have a teal throwback game before the years through.

Lot factors into where FA's go besides going to a contender. Money, opportunity for more PT, if they like the direction the team is going, if they think they can put the prospective team over the top, and so on.

We did not have the hottest GM back in the teal days so a lot of mistakes were made.
