JMAX got fouled on the alley oop by PJ Brown, who was all crying like a %%%%% when he was called for the flagrant.

Then, a possesion later, lindsey hunter knocks sam cassells dribble away, and sprints around him to pick it up. By the time sam cassell turns around to see lindsey with the ball lindsey is lofting it directly over sam's head. And by the time Sam Cassell turns his giant, alien-sized head around to follow the ball above... BAM! JMAX is already in the air dangling his scrot over the ugliest player in the NBA while driving home a momentum building alley oop.

    Thank you Pistons for '08.

I think they played way way way better than last year. The youth injected into this lineup did wonders for the hunger but still, in the end, it wasn't enough to overcome the complacency of the core.

I believe if they played like this last year we would have gone to the Finals.

    Spilled milk.

Favorite '08 playoff moments in no particular order:

    - Tay's block of Hedo's dunk
    - Winning in Boston
    - Proving Cheeks wrong
    - Watching Dwight Howard shake his head
    - Sheed on the block and hitting his post moves
    - Hunter steals, lobs a pass, JMax ramming it through over Cassell
    - Hope springs eternal in the loss to the Celtics (see Stuckey, Aff, Amir)

Still Pistons all the way. There is no more Finals for me. See you guys in offseason

    Nice thread thee!

J-Max's monster block on KG's 2 handed dunk attempt & Tay's block on Hedo to seal the win were my 2 favs.

I think the way everyone on this forum rallied together for game 4 was awesome.

I admittedly was down on this teams chances since day one, but seeing the way everyone pulled together, especially in chat, almost made me believe it could be done this year.

They didn't get it done (obviously) but I will not forget the camaraderie expressed on that day any time soon. And it's not just because I was slightly (ha!) intoxicated, and it was Memorial day.....

Have I mentioned lately how great of an asset you all are to the forum? :)

I only saw 3 games. But Tays block on MoMayhemEvans was best. Cause Mo hung on the rim, then collapsed on the floor in disgust. With a S'eating grin on his face. Tay must've snuck up on him running silent.

tad, yours was too easy, Sam I am was playing in slow-motion/ intitled mode
    -
Beating Bos. in Bos. was fools gold. All we did was piss them off. I'm thinking we should've snuck up on them in a game 7 [hindsight]
    -
Aura was out of control in chat.

Even though we lost, Stuckey's performance in Game 5 of the ECF. How good is our kid going to get? Guys, when people say the Pistons are going to be lottery bound anytime soon, just nod and smile...
