Amir Johnson grabbing 12 boards, blocking 5 shots and scoring 18 in the Pistons game 5 win in Boston. Maxiel and Amir both stepping up in the game 6 putting the Pistons in the Finals.

Oh wait a minute. Amir was benched and Maxiel barely got off the bench in games 5 and 6. Sorry, forgot.

    Tay's block on Evans.

    Tay's block on HT.

    Maxiell's block on Garnett.

    Sheed's 4 consecutive blocks on D. Howard.

Flip Saunders' unbelievably ugly tie collection.

Rodney Stuckey bringing hope for the future.

Seeing Dyess AND Rip in the masks. I was hoping the whole team would wear them for a couple of games. Even put one on flip and roll him out on a dolly, Lectre style.

The Huntah creating havoc in the first 2 rounds.

    Winning in Boston.

:pound:I was very pumped up for sure. But really TFD to suggest that I was on "uppers"! :)I was just very anxious and nervous and needed to talk about my team during the game. I had a sense of dread that needed diffusing across the collective shoulders of the chat crew.

Chat was great in this series I thought. And 2 Red Bulls and 3 Diet Cokes in the course of a high-risk high-intensity Pistons playoff game is not too much I daresay. :pound:Why back in the day......

Red Bulls and Pepsi. Now I get it.

Wood, it was good seeing Lenz play well. Maybe not good enough to come back.
    He only makes $1.5M.

The year was 2004. The HUNGRY upstart Pistons with a mix of players looking for a home find it in DETROIT. Championship won.

The Red Wings, content with a championship in 2002, get knocked out of the playoffs early AGAIN. A good regular season is followed by another disappointing playoff run.

    MY....how things can change !!!
