    You gotta appreciate the level of confidence those bench players have now after almost beating the defending champs on the road. How can you not root for the Spurs after all this madness. Even though we had lost, the 2005 finals (Spurs-Pistons) was one to remember for a long time. Stern still is probably pissed off about that one.

    Sounds like it was money well spent for the Spurs organization. The comeback OT win the next night validated it.

    In his defense, Duncan doesn't look like he's ever fired a sawed off shotgun before (maybe that's how Parker lost his eye if he has?).
