In the final analysis. Both had their NBA careers end prematurally due to suckiness. Although Arroyo was picked up for a stretch last season.
Sammy "plays" for CSKA Moscow with Andrei Kirilenko and Nenad Kristic. Actually, Sammy is a reserve, which means that he doesn't ever get to wear a uniform unless someone gets hurt. Perhaps they are hiding Sammy for the playoffs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PBC_CSKA_Moscow
Glyndouskous... or Glynnie on some altrenate universe Acker, Arroyo, Meija and Glynnie could all be starting for the Pistons this year.
Good example of a player that was never coached properly or filmed from the proper angle. He had quick hands.
In the NBA's defense, most team aren't equipped with proper type of camera to adequately capture his speed. You'd need one those cameras that can catch a bullet going through an apple to properly appreciate that guy.
Thanks, Bad Billy. I wasn't impressed with the lockout, and I was trying to get a handle on the current team. Hence, not around. Frankly, I'm more excited about this team than I have been in a couple of years. Sure, they're a sad-sack bunch right now, but I'm starting to like some of their pieces. It's nice to see a team with a possible future that doesn't include making a bunch of crazy trades. Next years pick, a smart trade or two.... who knows? I think that we could be an exciting team in '13, and one of the "It" teams in '14. A lot depends on us landing in the top three of next year's draft.
There was a reason, but now I forgot what it was.....perhaps an Alex Acker reference sparked this thread's comeback...
Well - The next time someone goes down in the basement please try to find that bot post about the playoffs, circa 2006-07 or sometime around there..
