I hate the guy, the but this was an amazing dunk. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...522119.html;_ylt=Agr4CE.weGYIlVTzF5_hiP28vLYF
I've watched two recent Heat games and it doesn't look like the same sport as when the Pistons play, in particular now when they play alot more uptempo than last year. The only guys on our team able to match the highlights of Wade and James are V-Mac and Russell.
I know this is an infamous Bleacherreport, but wondering did we (PForum) ever get wind of this potential trade and did we discuss the pros/cons?? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...er-happened?utm_source=&utm_medium=newsletter
I kinda remember that but I dismissed it as more of a rumer than anything. Too bad. He could have learned a lot from Rodney Stuckey.
Kinda wished the trade woulda happened. Kobe woulda kicked Rodney and his sorry game off the team.......
After reading this article, I'm completely convinced that OKC will win a championship in the next few years. Check out this attitude, totally Bad Boys/ Going to Work: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7...fired-los-angeles-clippers-blake-griffin-dunk
Wow, Odom's been sent to the D-League: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...928346.html;_ylt=AvzJxMlzXLDqV76fe8xKwo68vLYF
Oh man, this is perfect for us. Just trade Tay straight up for him. Lamar's contract next year is a "team option." Dallas needs to defend their Championship.
Tay for Lamar and Bengo + Knight for Allen + Rondo and we are halfway. Rondo - Allen - JJ - Odom - Monroe.
This is crazy. Idiots! Complete idiots!! Another reason why I really like Cuban (a winner). Sterling (a loser) doesn't ever deserve a winner. EVER!!!!! http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...wetzel_clipper_darrell_los_angeles_nba_030312 I almost started a new thread because I figured it was interesting enough, but didn't for two reasons. (1) I checked quickly, but thought maybe I missed it, and it might have been posted already (and maybe it was). Because... (2) ME??? Start an NBA thread??? Are you kidding me. I rarely even read them.
James is silently putting up one of the best statlines in NBA history according to Hollingers PER. That's pretty impressive considering PER doesn't take defensive contribution into account, since James is also one of the best defenders in the L. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/37544/lebrons-mvp-campaign-could-be-stilted
Incredible. They are going to be a defensive force in the playoffs. Chicago doesn't really seem to be on their level right now.
Wonder what his PER is the last 30 secs of a game.... because that is all that really matters.... the boy just doesn't finish.
I always respected Lebron for sticking to his guns on trying to balance scoring with facilitating in crunch time. Most big name stars shoot a pretty low percentage when it really matters because the defenses key on them. It makes a ton of sense to retain some unpredictability in these situations, especially when you have a guy that can pass the ball like Lebron. Kobe shoots .295 in crunch time for example and he attempts about 46 shots for every 48 minutes of crunch time that he plays. That's ludicrous. Derrick Rose shoots .267 in crunch time with just over 40 FG attempts per 48 minutes. Lebron shouldn't fall into that trap and he doesn't. He only attempts about 30 shots per 48 minutes and his efficiency is through the roof at 1.5 points per shot attempt. Kobe is at 0.83 and Rose is at 0.67. Maybe it won't hold up in the playoffs, but he's as clutch as it gets so for this season.
I agree. That nonsense about him passing off the last shot to Udonis Haslem was outrageous. The talking heads made such a big deal out of him "not being clutch," but in reality he made the much better basketball decision, and he made it with the shot clock winding down and facing a double team. His pass was spot on, he hit Haslem wide open, and Haslem didn't make the shot. I haven't really been a fan of King James, but I have to admit that he is playing outrageously well this season.
