Smith was an idiot in High school, an idiot in Atlanta and what made yall think a 54 mil contract would do to change that status?

To add...this is a guy who admitted that all he ever did day and night was play basketball. When my dad was 19, he moved us from Alabama to Detroit and all he did day and night was work and take trade classes to put food on our table. He now has a w ell deserved house in canton, Mi at 73 yrs old. ,,,But we give this uneducated punk 50 MILLLION DOLLARS to play basketball???!!!!!! THATS why this country is goin straight to hell! and why the Pistons better trade this clown sooner than later...

Luigi Datome looks like some beleaguered dad who found himself on the court after some Freaky Friday type mishap when he plays. They might as well kick the ball into the stands every possession if they're going to start him.

I'm not sure that the author took that analysis the right direction. He should have followed up with what each of those 2 lineups gives up per 100 possessions. If he thinks the big man combo is the problem, then it is when Stuckey is in there too. He's actually convincing me that Stuckey should be getting the starts. i.e. if our starting lineup has a scoring problem to the tune of worst in the league... and if that scoring jumps by 14 points by purely inserting Stuckey for Pope, then wallah.

I'm suspicious of him being the MVP of this Italian Basketball League. Did they just take his word for it? Or do they have some proof?

I wondered in an earlier game thread if MVP stood for something else in that league.

I'm convinced this is some goof being played on us by the Platinum Equity folks. It's got to be some sort of Trading Places thing with Gores and his rich friends.

This "marksman" went 0-2 from the line last night.

First of all, the guy is from a different continent. Secondly, we don't even do shoot arounds in our home arena. How the heck is he supposed to put the ball through such an unfamiliar cylinder?
