Our first win of the season

Ladies and gents, prepare for the most impressive performance of this squad this year. This game will be the high point of this season.

With the sparse, apathetic crowd the Pistons might think this is a home game.

What's the over/under on how many blocked shots Josh Smith has tonight against the likes of Monroe and Collider. Dude's gotta be drooling while breaking down pre-game film.

It's gonna look like a volleyball game out there.

Oh boy........ this might get uglier than last night, we're overmatched at every position tonight ............ I'm gonna need a lot of beer to get through this one ............. I think I'll watch to see how long it takes Runnin Rodney to turn into the Joggernaught tonight.

Stuckey benched. Played two minutes after the first quarter. You could see Stuckey mouth "he took me out" as he headed to the bench early in th third, never to return. T-Mac could be seen rolling his eyes at Kuester late in the 4th after he was subbed out for Summers.

This guy has already lost his team.

I haven't been able to watch any games (didn't buy league pass this year for obvious reasons). Looking at the box scores, especially this atlanta game, leaves me completely bewildered. What a mess.

This is some strange performance art we have going on, folks. I'm not sure I "get" it.

    The good:

T-Mac looked good out there for stretches and so did Monroe. Keep playing him for gods sake. The Lee-unit (T-Mac Daye Summers CV Monroe right?) looked pretty good both on offense and defense.

    The bad:

Another collapse. :cold: And what happened to Stuck? You are doing something wrong when you get pulled while being the only healty guard available in a back to back except Bengo.

This is weird what is happening to the team. If TMac is limited to whatever minutes, why put him back in? If he's not limited, why pull him? And what's going on with Stuck?

Well, after tonight's game it's clear that Q, Prince and Rip all have to go. Q has already lost this team, and we are a better team with Gordon as the starting guard instead of Rip. Prince can still help this team on paper, but he looks like he's pissed off at everything. Every game I see him sigh and spread his hands in frustration at least 10-12 times.

Daye is ineffective at the 4. Aside from a few moves, he stunk it up tonight.

Something happened with Stuckey tonight. He got in early foul trouble and only played about 12 minutes or so in the 1st half. Then in the second half he got in, and about 2 minutes later he was pulled out and that was it. Big Ben also didn't see too much action in the second half. Wonder what happened in the lockerroom during halftime.

TMac probably had his best game as a Piston. He draws double teams and he's quick to pass the ball out to the open man.

Gordon looked like he couldn't miss until he was poked in the eye. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Monroe finally got some decent minutes and actually looked decent out there. However, he should've dunked some of those meager layup attempts.

CV's defense was awful. In the 4th Atlanta kept going at him and exploiting that weakness. Q should've subbed him out for Wallace.

This was overall a weird game as we played big ball for long stretches with T-mac, Daye, Summers, CV and Monroe on the court.

We had 17 offensive rebounds vs Atlanta's 3. But, they shot 53.7% from the field, so that didn't really hurt them. We played 3 good quarters and then collapsed in the 4th.

according to Vincent Goodwill's twitter: "Kuester calls Stuckey, Stuckey doesn't respond...Kuester calls DaJuan Summers to replace him...what is going on here"

Oh, and for the record, if Joe ever gets an opportunity to trade for Josh Smith he should give Atlanta whatever they want. He's exactly the kind of player we're lacking.
