In 04' people said Detroit won, not because of individual talent, but because of the team concept. Now people are saying Detroit has too much talent not to be a much better team than their record indicates. But do they?

Was it just the perfect chemistry of coach and players. If so, then really, there is not so much to complain about.

So which is it? I don't think both can be true.

    Talent or chemistry in 04?

IMO, the Pistons have decent/average talent. So, they are around .500 right now. Maybe that is exactly where they belong.

Screw the switch theory. They win some and they lose some. That is what .500 teams do.

Playoff wins the last 5 years equals

    16 in 2004
    15 in 2005
    10 in 2006
    10 in 2007
    10 in 2008

IMHO...talent seemed to be there. Just a little more heart in 04'

Maybe, but three guys who are the team leaders and who will play nearly half of the team minutes (5x48) during the games.

If the Pistons somehow whip up on Cleveland in game 1, I think the Pistons will have a chance to take this series.

Is Cleveland really, really that good?

I would just like to say before this goes any further; KB or Amir should be starting.

KB would actually be very helpful as a starter since Z is a good match-up for him, and he will foul ppl hard that get into the lane.

I'm currently watching, but reserve the right to turn it off and cry LOL j/k

    edited to add;

The Dice/Sheed line-up will likely be the death of us in this series if it continues extensively.

This point is useless. CurryDumars will not pair sheed and dyess until there is no sheed/dyess. We really missed that quitter AI. Could have used is offensive and driving to the basket.
