Seems like forever since the lst game. Hopefully a little practice time will speed up the acclimation procees of our new comers. I just hope that it doesn't take a long time for our squad to find their rhythm. Since Rip and Tay were the ones that were out and they have played with Stuck before; I don't expect it to take long. We just need these guys to start hitting the simple shots they are getting to relieve some of the pressure on the defense.
Stuckey, Bynum, and CV might still be banged up, but this game is a serious test for Kuester. He's gotten a lot of slack for the injuries, and rightly so, but this game is coming off days of practice time - probably more than most NBA teams get in a month. I like a lot about how Q's handled the team so far, but now is the time to show some real progress.
When I listened to the post game interview from Stuck; it sounded like Q was giving them a few days rest. Not really sure how many practice days they got in. At this point I think it is just Tay and Rip getting their shooting legs back under them.
Will Bynum out for both road games, Rodney Stuckey will play The Oakland Press Blogs: Pistons' Point: Bynum out for Dallas, San Antonio
Apparently, they didn't rest, but practiced. From Langlois: The game once again hinges on whether we can stop Nowitzki. I hope Q doesn't put Prince on him.
After getting blown out by the Lakers, the Mavs will likely take it out on the Pistons. If Dirk decides he want 40, he's getting it pretty easily. Rodrique Beaubois could have a good game. If Gordon plays, he should go for 20+. Tayshaun will likely continue his impressive run as the NBA's first active zombie.
You mean the Mavs were so worried about playing the mighty Pistons that they overlooked the Lowly Lakers???
I don't know, somehow I get the feeling these practices will leave him with heavy legs for the games.
JJ will start against Dirk I guess. So far, he's had to guard LeBron, Kobe, Melo and now Dirk. The kid must be loving it.
