Two integral players to this team, I think Rasheed will play except I'm not to sure about Hamilton, especially with a back-to-back on the way. I think we might see him return against the Jazz, even as eager as he is, Curry won't take the risk. Should be a good contest - Hope we go with this line-up, Stuckey, Iverson, Prince, Amir, Rasheed, that is in the hypothetical situation that Rasheed does play. Even if Hamilton were to play it would be unlikely he would start, coming back from injury and all I'd say a good opportunity to bring him off the bench. Come on Pistons! Let's hope Stuckey explodes for another big night!
Quoting from detnews: "Hamilton is looking a lot more comfortable, but coach Curry isn't expecting him to return on this trip. Stuckey (back) didn't even put on his shoes Thursday but said he expects to play
Wow! That came out of Left-field. Not good news about Hamilton but it was partly expected on my part, maybe stuckey is just starting to get a few nigely injuries due to the intensity and knockdown of an NBA season. I hope it's nothing serious, we can ill-afford a stuckey injury, especially on a back-to-back against Jazz and Denver, two critical games.
He got injured midway through the POR game. Dice mentioned how he couldn't penetrate and explode like he wanted to in the 4th b/c of it. --- I really hope Rip doesn't come back early b/c he's obsessed with playing against CB, and mostly i just really don't want to see small ball.
Ya know! Seems very strange that you would risk further injury just to play in this game. Rip is a trip. Hopefully, small ball is history.
No contest. Billups will crush Bynum like a bug when he falls over dribbling. I don't know why, but it makes me laugh when they write that Sheed was extremely active running around and shooting 3's. Hopefully if TGRH comes back we can see a replay of the 2nd quarter of G5 in last years ECF's where TG goes mental and tries to take CB one on one but instead gets 16 straight cross court passes picked off. They should put Tay on CB.
I'm pretty sure that Sheed could put up half his normal number if he was sitting in a recliner at halfcourt.
All teams have video and scouts for opponents, but I'm sure CB shared the Piston offense and tendencies with his Nugget coaching staff. Then again, AI could do the same for Detroit...
Chauncey's view of the Pistons' offense is obsolete. It's a whole new ballgame with Bubba and Stucky in the backcourt. I'm not saying it's better or worse - just different. For the first time in a long time (since Rodney White), the Pistons have guards who penetrate and can get their own shot off of the dribble.

Sheed can make a difference against the zone. His ability to spread the floor and hit the 3 would be a big asset. Kwame, Max and Amir offer nothing in this regard.
