The Pistons have rocketed up to # 20 in ESPN's most recent Power Rankings! That's a 10 spot jump from the start of the year.
Will a win tonight and a win vs the Lakers on Wednesday get us in the top 10? Afterall we would have destoyed every team in California...
West Coast games are so late. I'm going to stay up and watch this one tho, Monta Ellis is so fun to watch, and I want to get an update on my boy David Lee. What did Wilson Chandler have in his mouth that would cause such an infection.
Not happening tonight, we gave our best last night in Sac no way does lightning strike twice for us, although IF we win, could be the start of something good.
We barely survived these guys at home, now they must be looking for a dish served cold. I think we're rested they better not quit.
Will Bynum subbed for Stuckey at the 4:54 mark and the Warriors outscored us 14-2 on 4 turnovers and two bad shots...the Warriors scored 20 straight points!!!
Will Bynum is playing like he doesn't belong in the league. He can't even dribble right now. Total panic mode out on the court for him nowadays. Seriously, if he doesn't get it together, we might not even dress him when White returns. I like Bynum, but it was because of how he played two seasons ago. I get he has had injuries, but truth is he's become a lousy pro. Not only is his offense broken, his defense is even worse.
Tay and Kuester went at it in the huddle in the 2nd quarter, according to the tweets. Based on what I heard, I doubt we see Tay for awhile. I'll bet he gets suspended for at least 1 game, perhaps 2.
That was the worst I've seen Bynum play, and Gordon wasn't much better. On the plus side, Daye had a good first half, and the Pistons have 13 assists at halftime.
Nah, Prince is a vet. Kuester only cracks down on soft spoken guys like Rodney. Prince is untouchable, as we all saw when he came back and played in the second half.
Gordon's game is a mixed bag. He was solid on offense, except for a couple of turns, but looked lost on D, as usual. Charlie looked decent on D. Pistons had 6 players in double-figures. 12 minutes between the end of the 1st qt and middle of 2nd made the game. And then too many mistakes in the crunch-time last few minutes - turnovers, missed free throws, defensive lapses. This team is too unbalanced and Q seems to have too many players he's trying to manage in the game. Also, Pistons need to manage the hot-handed player better. It seems as they take it to the extreme taking the rest of the players out of the game and forcing 30-foot shots. I wish CV had a higher b-ball IQ he seem to have no nose for the ball and can't always gauge his shot selection. Monroe with quiet +13 in the 17 minutes while bothering offensive players with his length although he will be remembered for the 2 missed free throws that could've made things a lot easier. Daye with quiet 25 minutes and very solid 14-3-3 on 5 of 7 shooting.
I just don't get it. What's the fascination with bowing like a slave to Prince? Is this Kuester's team. He can come down on Stuckey but Prince gets to run amok? Sure seems like unadulterated, indefinsible bull%%%% to me.
Daye, Gordon and CV are super shooters. They can each get the ball off quick from long distance. Embarrassment of riches? Too much firepower in 3 guys where only 2 can play a lot of minutes and get a lot of shots? One thing to look for in the future - those 3 playing at the same time with Stuckey and Monroe - and spacing the floor like no team in the league can making a lot of room for Stuckey and Monroe. And those guys aren't limited to being stationary shooters. We're going to be wicked hard to defend.
