At LA Clippers Jan. 4th, 3:30 PM TV - FS Detroit HD, NBALP Radio - WDFN 1130 The Pistons first stop on a four game west coast trip is against the Clips. The other LA team have yet to find an identity and look lottery bound.
Re: At LA Clppers Jan. 4th, 3:30 PM Zach Randolph is out of this game. Baron davis didnt play against Phoenix , not sure on his status.Chris Kaman been out for long period.. Camby had 19 points, 23 rebounds against Phoenix. I am reading their forum, and their are those who agree in trading him. The clippers are going nowhere this year, and camby is gettin old.. so trading him is better option then trading kaman or randolph..
yeah no Zach for at least another week and he was the one player who was turning them around. Not sure what the extent of Davis' injury is, but I think he will play tomorrow. Six straight losses for the Clips and now even the Clipper fans are asking the GM Dunleavy to fire the coach Dunleavy. I will be there so my streak of attending 8 straight Piston road victories should be extended to nine even though it is a Sunday game...lets hope that the Pistons took an early flight out this morning and they are already here. If they hang at Tay's moms house, get a good meal there and then get a good nights rest they should be ready for tomorrow..
Dang!!! Sunday vs the Clips, this sucks. I think a trade where we could acquire Camby would make us a legit contender. What Amir does on a career night, Camby does every night.
Bigs Sheed Amir Camby Dice Kwame Max Would be pretty awesome. At Small AI Stuck AA Tay I dunno. It's a catch 22. If we trade Rip, we are thin in the backcourt, if we keep Rip, we are a little thin up front.
See, there you go, putting words in my mouth (or rather on my keyboard). I never said "Trade Rip", I just said "a" trade. See 'Scoe, this is how catfights get started around here.
Its better to be thin in the backcourt than thin up front. Its much easier to find playable guards than playable bigs. With that said we don't what was said to Rip when he signed his extension or if AI will even want to comback next year for a massive paycut so we will see. Clipps are 8-24 and 3-13 at home. Not much of a homecourt advantage here for them.
Because L.A. is a fairly easy opponent in the midst of what will be some very hard games all month regardless of the opponents record, just because of how the games are scheduled. The team really needs to get these first few easy ones ... it only gets progressively harder for a big chunk of the month from here.
Injury update on Rasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton and Antonio McDyess - Detroit Pistons Basketball: News, Blogs, Photos, Audio, Schedule & Stats - MLive.com Rip, Rasheed out vs. L.A. Clippers | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press No rip, no sheed. Dyess doubtful. We are in crisis.
And folks say Curry can't coach, this idea of sitting Rip and Sheed to keep them getting Tech's is working beautifully.
Kaman is probably still out. I know lots of people have man crushes on him, but Kaman misses his share of games. Only appeared in 56 last year and he'll be lucky to play in 60 this year.
yes, Kaman most probably is out.. so is baron davis.. Injuries test Clippers' depth at point guard - Los Angeles Times
Cause we got to get the Sunday monkey off our backs...new resolution for 2009, get focused on Sunday and win baby!!
